I managed to lease a car in less than an hour.
So many people DIW.

Re: Project Binky
I did wonder about Nick's hair in the first part. Glad it was an intentional set up.
The little hose connector which mounts on the bulkhead for the coolant pipes is a thing of beauty. I wonder if they make more from their videos than they do from their engineering business now, though?

Re: Adios manuel
most Ferraris are fitted with paddles in large part not because they are " built for pure speed" but because it makes them more docile pottering around town posing and/or more acceptable to the NCG middle aged men that make up a significant portion of their clientele. You're not wrong - t...

Something I've always thought looked amazing, and still does now: the Bertone Ramarro. Based on a Corvette C4, I know there was at least one running car but I think it was just a concept and not released to the public. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/37/Bertone_Ramarro_%282495...

Re: Modern life
No, I once went to a Warhammer shop when I was young with some Space Crusader models I’d painted. Even though I went there on rollerblades and was wearing knee pads I was the coolest person in the store. I learned quickly that they should be avoided. Dave! So you're not actually being sociable your...

Pulling the choke out and pushing it back at the right time, mixture adjustment levers: both skills to be gained and utterly irrelevant now.
Gears themselves are only a product of small operating bands of engines.

Getting married (or at least, picking up cake, suits, dress etc).
Re: New car!
Richard, I suspect from your hairy Facebook picture you're not suffering from a bald spot, but that's another thing to beware of. A baseball cap may be unseemly on someone of my advancing years but it's a necessity

Honey I uglified the MX5!
There have been some great deals on these recently.

In Johnson's A Dictionary of the English Language (1755), the word anus is not included despite being used in two definitions: http://qi.com/infocloud/dr-johnson.
Those two definitions being 'Notorious' and 'Rev'.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Coming up to 21k miles in my Audi. I still really like it. I'll do an end of term report when it goes next month but in the meantime, it has an annoyance: the driver's side sunvisor won't quite stay put in its extended position now. The passenger one works fine.

I might well be available that weekend.
Choosing a route is much harder these days, traffic is so much worse. But let’s aim for somewhere like Wantage/Newbury to meet up and heading a bit west towards Avebury.

Do you have a computer generated image of the wheel and interior/exterior colour combo? I can find real images (not of my actual car, but the spec isn't that obscure): https://pictures.dealer.com/a/annapolisvolvovcna/1651/2b378679903c0363581d063584bd1ebdx.jpg https://pictures.dealer.com/a/annapolis...

Gone for the Cross Country T6. Should be delivered in the last couple of weeks of June (it's in stock so it's more a case of me tying in the return of my Allroad). Slightly more expensive per month than the D5 or my Allroad but much lower pence per mile excess mileage (9.5p inc VAT for the first 500...

Re: The neighbours
I see my neighbours every couple of months. Their barn is about 1/4 mile away across the field. Have you considered moving?
