Re: Vomit

I rather enjoy watching adults vomit - it beggars belief how much they are capable of spewing. Day 1 out on the boat last week and a rather rotund Welsh gentleman vomited an amount so phenomenally copious, it made Mr Creosote look rather under-performed and unimpressive. It was also produced withou...

Vomit

Heading up the M25 yesterday, 20 minutes from our destination (and an hour from home) the middle one suddenly starts crying in that full-bore wailing way that toddlers do that means something serious has happened and he manages to say that his face hurts before vomiting copiously and violently down ...

I'm no expert, but the wheelbase looks a little short and it could do with bigger wheels.

Re: What.Three.Words

Just seen that someone has pitched to the business that we should use this for our global addresses. It may be adopted  What issues does the business have that pitcher thinks this will address? They've bought into the idea of a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Apparently addresses a...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Continuing with the theme of window cleaning, I have (finally) replaced the broken washer bottle filler cap. While it was off I also topped up the screenwash and then checked the oil as I realised I'd never pulled the dipstick on it before. In terms of skills required and effort it ranks only slight...

How much will the licence fee be for using it?
Not a clue. Hopefully excessive so it fails.

Can he even claim to have bought a car if he hasn't consulted the forum and told us about it at length?

Cheers. Will take a look.

Mesh WiFi

Finally had it with the crap router supplied with my broadband. Any recommendations/warnings? Don't need anything OTT, just want decent signal.

I've read reviews, but want real world view too. Rev, didn't you get the BT kit?

Re: Your fleet running reports

Replaced all three wipers on the Galaxy. It was disappointingly simple and easy. Didn't take five minutes.

Difference it makes on the car is astonishing though. No smearing, squeaking or juddering. Should have done it much sooner!

Without wanting to diminish anything gone into rescuing the boys, imagine if we'd put the same amount of effort into preventing migrants drowning as they try to cross the Med.

Re: Bye bye Theresa

One of the EU lot today tweeted something along the lines of now Boris and Gove have gone it’s a shame the notion of Brexit hasn’t gone with them. It was in such a way that we’d be welcome back with open arms. The opportunity is still very much there if we cancelled the whole thing. That would be a...

Re: Bye bye Theresa

Unzippy is correct. And DJ, I think you’ll find that a lot of the UKIP headbangers view you as the “right sort” of immigrant (rhotacise at will). Their focus (ironically, since most of the originating countries are nowhere near the EU) is on immigrants from, ahem, different cultural backgrounds. Th...

Re: Bye bye Theresa

As one of the highly skilled migrants that has made a life here I can vouch that the sense of rejection is real. I, and many thousands of others, have made our home here, yet didn't get a vote in the referendum. Britain has definitely been diminished by the vote and the ensuing ugliness. Had it not ...
