They have very little headroom. I looked at one last year. My head didn’t just touch the headlining, it touched the glass of the sunroof.
Seemed nice otherwise.

I’ve quite enjoyed the regular ghost ship, I’ll have to give the N/A version a try.

Also 20mpg vs. 24mpg. It doesn’t sound much, 4mpg, but it’s +20% !

Also, that might be the pettiest MOT advisory I’ve ever seen
I wouldn’t be surprised if ALL my cars have this.

Re: Your fleet running reports
What is causing the change? I bought the Bentley last year when I was 100% WFH and it was a nice novelty that did few miles. A new job started in January and having used the Bentley & the Cayenne more or less back to back for the slog to work (80 miles each way, mostly motorway, only once every...

Re: “Black Edition”
That’s Cayenne Turbo has black trim round the windows - isn’t that quite rare? My S6 is a black edition. Until the 2023 models the black editions came with chrome Audi rings. They finally went for black rings for mine. I quite like them. Your Audi was sold as a”Black Edition” and is a thing - that’...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I didn’t mean no headlining at all & paint the metal black ! The card/board backing would remain and that probably does most (?) of the sound proofing. And I was talking about my compact here - it’s already pretty noisy with stiff engine mounts, lightweight solid flywheel and low gearing. I don’...

FAO @integrale_evo - reg "X5 GUT" for sale, where "gut" is of course the German for "good". As these things go, it's quite..... good ?

“Black Edition”
No, it’s not special, it’s not rare, it’s just black. Very common colour. There’s hundreds, maybe thousands of them out there. I’ve seen this used lots of times but for some reason this one drove me to comment. Maybe because they feel the need to mention it twice. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-det...

Very cheap Cayenne Turbo…. if you think a banana-shaped turd is suitable as a grab handle

Hmm. I guess you’d still need to do the same thing, removing the sticky gunk, if you wanted paint to stick / not be all lumpy.

My headlining is exactly the same, not got around to doing anything about it. Seriously tempted to just strip the foam and paint it black.

Re: Test drive report
I had this one time with an MOT - got home and realised they’d put in the wrong mileage. Phoned them straight away and they were able to correct it. It was far easier than I expected, I was braced for a series of “computer says no” conversations.

It’s Friday, I don’t have much to do this afternoon, and the weather is nice at last. I might pop out to Aldi and see what they’ve got
Then come back on here about 6pm and do a drunken brocco-style rant

Re: Test drive report
The mileage discrepancy seems to just be one MOT with no mileage recorded. All the others are consistent.
