Re: It's the weekend

My weekend suddenly got more interesting. I tweeted that I’ve been obsessing over the KTM Superduke GT for the last couple of days and fancied a test ride. The wife questioned me on why I wanted to change when I’ve had the BMW less than a year. I do really like the Beemer, but I’m worried about the...

Re: It's the weekend

Back in the UK this weekend. M3 needs a good wash.

968 needs driving and I need to take my bike for a ride, as I haven't been on it for a few weeks.

This, down the road from where my aunt lives in Germany. Apparently owned by a doctor, who collects obscure cars.

Pretty mint condition too 😎

Re: Can we have some moderators?

I'd say you're pretty wrong on that count OC. Seeing as the evo forum was pretty much self regulating, and there's been no incidents here, I'd argue almost any current member could be trusted to be a moderator. I imagine you really wouldn't have to do much apart from admin work. See Miks post which...

I was either driving, or they passed by so quickly I didn't have the opportunity to take a pic!

ilmostro wrote: Mon May 14, 2018 1:51 pm Since 'we' now run the forum, please can we have some elected moderators or some such thing, to delete the fucking spam bots etc?

Not looking to have censorship police or anything like. Just have a few regulars to clean out the junk, etc.
Matty, can you please ban Ravi for suggesting this!

So the Superman and Lois Lane from my childhood are both dead now 😞

Used to love them films when I was young.

RIP Margot.

I also saw a couple of Donkervoorts, AC Cobra's and 911s. No pics of them though.

Spammers have arrived!

See the moaning forum.

On a side note, I sell a lovely range of highly uncustomisable kitchens. If anyone is interested, don't bother sending me a PM.

Re: It's the weekend

Washed cars and bikes, ate, drank and masturbated like an autistic teenager. No news, basically. I think i’ll do this along with watching some motorsport for my last week of freedom. Been told I’ll be a vegetable till July. Yolo. Hope it goes well whatever treatment you're having Dave. So can we ex...

Had a call from my dad to check the CCTV recordings as someone had come and busted the shed door, broken some of the outdoor lights, scratched his truck, ripped a car cover and strew all the items in the garden across the property. Your dad must be vealy pissed off. Were the police very helpful whe...

True. I guess a flat-6 would fit a little easier than a very narrow angle V6 too.

Re: The idle dreaming "cars you want that don't exist" thread

Good shout... A mate's often thought about the R32 / R36 into a Bay Window Camper conversion... I think I would rather have a watercooled 911 engine if I wanted to make a faster, more reliable camper. Those DFI engines are gonna cost ya ;) Beat me to it! Just make sure it's had a £11.5k Hartech reb...

Sounds like you were TRAVELING AT DANGEROUS SPEEDS and PUTTING YOUR PREGNANT WIFE AT RISK Think your Elise must be down on power too, as I could keep up with it in my Golf 🤣 That elise was quite compared to a certain pink mini at Knockhill, except it seemed to be really slow in the corners and was ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Wanged one of the alloys on my M3 against a kerb today. Bollocks. The only downside with the Michelin Super Sports is they don't have as much rim protection compared to Goodyears/Vredesteins. Oh well, the gouge is only about 1" long, so can probably be repaired, rather than the wheel needing a ...
