Re: Lexus image in the UK
I can definitely remember my mate who was into his hip hop in the early 90s loved Lexus before anyone here had really heard of them. Odd that in the US they treat different badges as totally different brands. I’ve hear they have always been posh Toyotas. I was going to say maybe because they’re used...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Merc failed its mot on worn rear tyres. Rather annoying as I’d swapped the fronts to the spare winters as I knew they were getting low, but at a (very quick) glance the rears looked fine. Have stuck the winters on there too and will look at a new set in a couple of months. May look at something othe...

Or something.

Might be harder to find than a hire van though

Re: No F1 thread?
There were rumours years ago and various people said it would never happen.
They all like Ferrari, and their massive egos mean most would love the chance to be the first Ferrari world champion since 2007, thinking they could be the one to finally turn the team around.

Quite a collection. He does appear to drive them though. He is the purchaser (and subsequent modifier) of The Beast. I prefer the new colour, but it looks like they forgot to put the clearcoat on top :? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rXTGHaHamM It’s not painted, it’s a vinyl wrap. Still t...

You could clearly see it under the strap, surprised he didn’t feel it when he was pulling it behind him before the jump.
I guess too much adrenaline pumping from both the illegal entry / jump and the thrill of the jump / getaway itself.

Re: EV Thread
So is there any new tech on the horizon which is going to give an alternative to the current design template for EVs which seems to be to cram as many heavy batteries as possible into a traditional car "shape"? Only the same things they’ve been promising are just around the corner for the...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Lol, £25 a corner for a rear calliper repair kit with piston, £70 for a pair of complete replacement callipers. Even a tight arse like me can’t be bothered DIYing it for that

Re: Your fleet running reports
Yeah, I use them pretty regularly unless I need something same day urgent. I thought it was only the rears which are more model specific / expensive, but can get a pair of rears and pads for under £100 😂 Rear pads and shoes shared with e46 m3 😄 Annoyingly bmw don’t list a piston size or sell one. Th...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Went to Colchester in the X5 to collect some furniture, about 40 miles of dual carriageway. Driving at low speed through the town centre I noticed a squeak / squeel following us. Parked up for 10 mins or and when we set off for home it wasn’t doing it. Got home and noticed through the rest of the mu...

It does taste different, but I still do it because I’m too lazy to make a fresh cup. Also don’t actually mind it cold if I’m not in need of a hot drink by the time I remember I haven’t drunk it.

When it warms up a bit just take the doorcard off and peel back the membrane and spray the inside of the latch mechanism with some white grease.
