I like to think I'm a reasonable sort of chap, so they should be given the chance to be euthanised at the same time as the dog perhaps?

Re: My clean licence

Many years ago I was driving a GP beach buggy at 41 in a 30 area, having spotted the Police too late. The 41 was with my brakes locked up, and they complimented me on being alert and the buggy for its sharp brakes. Still got 3 points and a £20 fine though. :?

We got one new in 1997 and happily drove from Derby to the Dordogne on holiday in it, though the missus would have liked to have had more luggage space. Bliss! 8-)

As an old git I remember genuinely small cars like the 1965 Elan I once had. 3.68m long by 1.42m wide. 8-)

Re: EV Thread

Echo that. These twighlight years are for enjoying internal combustion before it’s banned. EV fine for a runabout but not a fun car. Get your name down for a GT4 RS instead :D That's an idea that makes me smile, but its extra potential would be beyond my abilities to exploit if I'm honest.

Re: EV Thread

Bearing in mind I'm getting old and my last 23 years of motoring have been various Boxsters and Caymans, should I put my name down for a (2025?) Electric Cayman? I still grin when I see the needle passes 7000, and I like to think others enjoy the sound as well. Bit of a first world problem I know, b...

Black Circles

If any of you use Black Circles for your tyre requirements don't forget to tick the competition entry box on their forms. I did a week ago and got my £620 back for the new rear tyres on my car today. They have a weekly competition and I was this week's winner! Top firm to deal with. 8-)
