What you need is a small industrial unit which is below the business rates threshold. Commercial premises tend not to be quite as pricey as residential land unless they have potential for conversion I would imagine that unit is into business rates being payable territory. Add on the expense of busin...
Blimey, stop with the fucking 'educational' Porsche videos - they contain the sort of trite info that anyone who has spent 20 years on car forums will already know

Well I’ve learnt something new. I thought the difference between .1 and .2 was fired egg vs clear. Didn’t realise they were a different shape.
I’ll hand my CG card in
996.1 Turbo had the different shaped lights first so it's not just a 996.1/996.2 distinction.
I watched a very boring video (I think Autocar’s) which still made me want one. The estate in S trim. It’ll be fucking expensive though, based on the E450d being £86k upwards.
At least Porsche put the engine in a different place in the two cars.
I agree with you Newt - the Boxster does feel lighter on its toes; lower polar moment of inertia I guess. Neither is a bad car but one of them has a variant that wins ECOTY virtually every year.
lol, how on earth do you know that?! Its April to August thankfully! I've had clients say their demolition has been delayed for a year due to missing the bat survey window - it sticks in the mind  Have found other advice that says Phase 2 surveys must be between May-September and there must be...
Though, there's an awful lot of boxster/Cayman that IS a 911 these days. Interesting (if very nerdy) watch! <link> Didn't watch the vid, and I don't dispute the assertion, but I do wonder how much that matters to the majority of buyers? Those who want brand/status will still see the 911 as a higher...
Proper bat surveys can only be done at certain times of year - May I think - so check that out a.s.a.p. or you could be waiting 12 months for a bat surveyor. Other times they can only check for droppings etc; they won't be able to verify whether there are or aren't any bats actually roosting.
992 sounds like an interesting buy (although I still wish they were a bit smaller). If you got one would you still want an MX5? Have I misread your post? :? It didn't feel big - incredibly easy to place on the road. I wouldn't write off the idea of a 911 because the 992 has got too big. MX5 is the ...
https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/RW6454 That one keeps looking at me - nice spec, nicely Jobbo interior 8-) Discount off a new GTS is about £9k, about £5-6k off a T (that's these specific cars from this specific dealer, not across the board). I can see a lot of merit in a lightly specced...
Today's test drive was of a 992 Carrera 2 GTS. Tewkesbury Porsche's demonstrator with lightweight pack and full GTS interior Race-Tex in black with red stitching, seatbelts and brake calipers. A nice simple spec but looked good. I'd been tempted to the showroom by the excellent sales chap who we've ...
The glass panasonic [sic] roof on the Smart went pop on the M3 last night, whilst I was still 90 mins from home in the pouring rain. Luckily the journey was largely motorway which meant that I could keep to speeds above 50mph and the airflow would keep the rain out the car, so I just kept moving :l...
