Re: Corriebobs

And then another time Crown Forces drove machine guns into the pitch and opened fire on the crowd and players, killing ...

Re: Corriebobs
I collect Newspapers from important moments in history and this morning’s collection was an interesting statement on society. The Times - commemorative front page The Mail - commemorative front page The Guardian - led with the Tories getting a kicking in the local elections. Their “coverage” was wha...

Re: The Movie Thread
A Man Called Otto A lovely film staying true to the book. Tom Hanks was great, and it was cast well. They'd managed the transition from a Swedish to American context very well, and with mostly less known/unknown actors it came across more authentic. Definitely worth two hours of your time. Agreed -...

You’re not alone in that Duncs. I hate working, it’s not my job or the people I work with. I just resent having to spend 8 hours doing things I don’t give a shit about just so I can pay stupid bills  Similar here - I have consciously decided to remove myself from the Management Advancement tre...

But you seem to have a very good attitude to everything and living well which is great. (thought I'm sure there are difficult days) Not everyone who goes through it comes out the s...

Re: Not being able to drive VS boring car
I'm two months into my Blood Pressure meds - Ramipril - and so far so good. BP's down to 120/130 over 82/85. Still not perfect but way better than before. The last drop will come when I lose more of the Covid Weight. Only side effect I'm experiencing is Acid Indigestion so some foods (which, to be h...

Long, long, long may it continue...
