Re: The Watches Thread
Personally, I hate leather straps that don't taper towards the buckle. Also, Rolex not on its bracelet is DIW .

Re: Lego
Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa set available on the 1st March (earlier for VIPs). Should be around £120. The proportions are slightly off, the roof seems a little too low and the wheels are a tad too small, but otherwise it's pretty cool and I'll be getting it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/y9iml27rwu4...

Car insurance renewal for the F31. Cheaper than last year by 50 quid, quick call and they reduced it by a further 100 quid. Chancers.

Re: The Watches Thread
The Chris Ward forum has regular “status of the collection” posts that I’ve never really paid much attention to as the idea of a big collection doesn’t appeal to me. Idly clicked on one last night  That's a really nice collection. I know a couple of guys who are massive Speedmaster fans, bas...

Re: The Watches Thread
Picked up a BB58 blue a few days ago. Always thought they're a bit small for my 6.75" wrists, prefer bigger watches, but it wears so well, I can see why they are so popular. Never liked the original black and gilt version, the latest blue one is killer, a close homage to the Marine Nationale Su...

Re: The Watches Thread
The ones I've listed are all quality from my own personal experience. Of course, no point in getting a 100 quid strap for a Seiko 5.

Re: The Watches Thread
Where do you guys buy straps from? Any recommended websites? From my experience: If you're looking for a standard leather strap, I recommend Molequin (https://molequin.com/). They have some lovely straps, pricey but you get what you pay for. Based on Belgium and normally super fast delivery via UPS...

Re: Courtesy Car Lottery
Thought I'd bump this instead of creating a new one. Random Sat night thoughts. Whats everyones expectations from a courtesy car? If you'd got a £50k car that was damaged by someone else, would you expect a £50k loan car? Or more realistically, if you had an M3, or an C63, would you be happy with a...

Re: Your fleet running reports
320D just had its first service after 19000 miles. £270 (after 10% discount) for an oil and filter change, I miss not having a service pack. There's a M2 CS sitting outside the forecourt. IMO, it doesn't look like a £89k car.
