Re: Your fleet running reports

It might be what you're used to, but don't you feel all that driving is a waste of time and effort ?

In fairness, it's what I'm used to and I enjoy it especially when there's bugger all traffic like today.

I have been in various one make forum groups on t'net and Facebook over the years but I have never come across so many people who post pictures with caption such as "My Baby" or "Love of my life" Not as many "Ah, your one is shit, you want this older one" that y...

Join the GR Yaris Facebook group. Main dealers keep offering cancelled orders with 3/4 month lead times

Found someone I know a track pack car for July delivery.

Re: Your fleet running reports

I think I've bought a Xantia Activa 😀 Just need to figure out picking it up once stay at home finishes, it's in Cambridge, hopefully I can get a lift down. Classic insurance £120 with Lancaster as well which is handy 😎 Very cool. I spent some time speaking to those guys known for fitting V6 convers...

Re: Harry’s Garage

You're paying for the noise which is what impressed me most about the csl. I would like to see a review of a manual v10 m5, that might do something to their values in the future. You can get exactly the same noise on any e46 m3 with approx £2k worth of carbon air box and a remap. That's another thi...

nah, the CSL had forged wheels, CF intake, CF roof, different bodywork, different boot floor, thin rear glass...
CS had bigger brakes, quicker steering and revised suspension over the standard car though.

Less than that IMO, this guy has positioned himself well within a niche.

Same as S65 Shell bearings, £1500+ job not that complicated.

Re: Harry’s Garage

Harry made an unusual comment about the gearbox still being notchy since the conversion. It's the same gearbox but with the automated shift removed ?! They were always stiff. I remember someone describing it as knuckley back in the day. I've only sat in E46 M3s but never driven one. TBF E46 330i ma...

Re: Harry’s Garage

I just assumed that he meant the shifter mechanism itself was a bit stiff, as that would be new. Anyway, liked the car. I can see final drive drops being a popular mod for modern sports cars in the future. Porsche especially seem to get criticised for long gearing a lot of the time. Yes, sorry. Tha...
