Re: Elite Dangerous
I also bought this in the PSN sale, got through all the training missions easily enough although it’s clear the PS4 controller is lacking in buttons (I hate having to use button combinations to access frequently used feaures). Went into the main game mode and have absolutely no clue what to do. Flew...

There used to be an authorised Apple repairer in Covent Garden called Amsys. My friend worked at Apple Covent Garden and said they would send any repairs off to Amsys whenever they were too busy themselves.

Well that race had a bit of everything!
Must be the most exciting season start since the beginning of the hybrid era.

The redline looks to be 7,250 from that picture. Shame on you for not finding it out much earlier!
Re: F1 Thread
Just seen it in qualifying and can see the teams making a fuss as they were told they could advertise on the Halo and now the graphics on the virtual dash is hiding the adverts. Also the brake graphic must be wrong as it kept showing the drivers fully on the brakes which would cause them all to lock...

I bought this thing from Costco about 8 years ago
We had a thread on this years ago and I think it was Jobbo who said using a jump starter for inflating the tyres would kill the battery pretty quickly but it’s still going.

The i3 was going into BMW every few months for its first 2 years due to software problems. I think it was actually at the BMW workshop for 6 months in total before they finally released an over the air update which fixed everything.

With that land I’d just build a proper workshop which can fit 40 cars and fit a proper pool/hot tub/sauna/gym/games room downstairs with space for a 4 cars.

I think the best solution here is to ban ethnic minorities from working in jobs that contribute to their stereotype. Thus get them banned from working in corner shops and petrol stations.

Re: New Tyres?
I just show the tyre fitter my phone with a screenshot of the tyre I want on the blackcircles website with the price there. At that point it’s up to him to take it or leave it. Much better for the fitter too as it cuts out the middle man. They profit more and I get my tyres changed by someone I trus...

Prezzo serve their “executive” pizza on wooden boards. Agree they look crap but not sure if they’re that unhygienic. I’m neutropenic and it hasn’t caused me any problems yet!

Re: What am I missing? £20k ish choice
You’re clearly missing a V8 😉 But it sounds like you should buy the C200 or have a year of regret as you sit in the C63 wondering when it will throw a big bill and analyse every little noise it makes in case it’s about to self-destruct. Like any car in that category the running cost over a year may ...

Was there some classic car show going on around Lydden Hill yesterday? Must have come across 30 classic cars, really old stuff pre 50’s at a guess. Followed shortly after by a gaggle of about 30 Vespa riders.

I don’t think I’ve come across a “mechanic” in terms of people who work on cars. They all seem to be called technicians, even in the videos they send of the cars... “I’m Darren and I’m your technician today...” Almost every van in London seems to be labelled with specialist or engineer which has som...
