Re: Porsche Taycan first drive - Fully Charged

A sensibly priced 'normal' car which happens to be electric is exactly what's needed if it's ever to become properly mainstream. I did think the leaf might have taken that market now it doesn't look so spazzy, unfortunately it's not far off £40k for a decent spec version! because of Nissan's financ...

Re: Randomness

I really hate the noise golf R and a45s make with a passion. No doubt the new 135 or 140 or whatever it is now with the fourparper probably sounds the same 🙄 you would have hated mine even more, the AMG Dynamic and performance packs increase the amounts of farts and the volume and the performance b...

Mito Man wrote: Thu Oct 17, 2019 4:21 pm That sounds better, you’d save that on fuel alone compared to a petrol engined car with the same power.
just based on the figures i have so far its £300 a month cheaper than the GLA45

Re: Your fleet running reports

My merc would avg 250 miles on £80 of SUL, I have now travelled 800 miles in the model 3 for £40 of electric used so that equates to 1600 miles for the cost of a tank of fuel. Once my Octopus tariff goes live the car will do a mind bending 4,800 miles for the cost of one tank. That's basically free ...

My wife’s 6S+ is on 87% but the lost ‘cells’ position is such that they have reduced the max power the battery can deliver so it has switched off peak performance

Re: Your fleet running reports

While it might not matter for most owners, or the terms of the lease, it doesn't bode well for the long term appearance and just confirms many people's thoughts that they're designed to be disposable motoring. Which if turns out to be true isn't great for the 'green' credentials they try to sell th...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I get the feeling most mass produced cars have designed obsolescence in built, excessive parts costs kills off most cars long before there not actually viable to use. I saw a post this morning where musk confirmed the battery is designed for 500k and the motor for 1 million miles, seams massive over...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Mine has very little parasitic charge, I also use % not range as range is a calculation and can be very inaccurate leading to some owners doing factory resets etc. I think of it as being as accurate as windows file copy times lol To get updates connect to WiFi and enable the update beta mode or what...

I was surprised how super fast and ‘snappy’ the pro max is over the X but apart from that it doesn’t really feel any different apart from being physically bigger and heavier.
