Re: Top Boy final series
I watched the final episode last night and also thought the ending was a bit rubbish, almost as bad as No Time To Die. I did enjoy the series though and it's a shame there won't be another.

Re: MX5 test drive
The handling is a bit roly poly as standard so I had the Mazda/Eibach 30mm lowering springs fitted to mine. Much less roll and of course an improvement in the looks too.

Re: MX5 test drive
If you like grey then Polymetal Grey is nice but very rare. Also, Soul Red is different from Soul Red Crystal although I don't think Soul Red is available on the mx5 184.

Re: MX5 test drive
I bought the RF as I prefer the look of the coupe over the pram hood To be honest I would still have bought the RF even if the roof didn't lower.

Porsche 914 "restomod"
I'm sure it goes well and the attention to detail looks very good but would you buy one, even if money was no object? https://www.topgear.com/sites/default/files/2023/08/Porsche914FifteenElevenDesign%284%29.jpg?w=976&h=549 https://www.topgear.com/car-news/retro/brit-engineers-have-recreated-pors...

I've used the Philips Racing Vision and could definitely see an improvement over standard bulbs. Bought mine from ECP.

Re: Dumb idea or not?
I use a D-lock to lock the drivers seat of our motorhome facing backwards when it's left anywhere not totally secure. At the height of the joyriding years I owned an Escort RS Turbo. Theft was rife, especially at race circuits which we often visited. More often than not there would be a few of us wi...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Insurance renewal on the mx5 has arrived and has gone from £190 to £247 with exhaust and suspension mods declared. I can’t find it for much less so will stick with LV.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Black Circles finally supplied a set of tyres at the third attempt, not sure who was to blame (not the local fitting centre) but it was a pain in the arse as they were very slow to tell me the fitting was cancelled.
