Re: I'd be faster than Lewis, but slower than Max
I've seen that he's doing some racing with Bilstein at the ring with a couple of other YouTubers - I got recommended SuperGT channel which he's mainly done sim racing, but has done karting and now progressed up to a 3 series. They might be doing the 24 hour race, but I'd have to go looking for an up...

Re: Car crime wankers - ND but that’s the problem
Being from Portsmouth I would say that's a Southampton thing, but I had my car broken into outside my dad's house in Portsmouth. Stole my sunglass... bastards.

Re: Harry’s Garage
Interesting - I can't say I've seen a new C63 at all. Are they even out yet? Anecdotally, I do see a lot of M3/M4s, so guessing more people went that route over the Mercedes this time round.

Re: What does dinny mean?
Being from Portsmouth, I heard dinlo / din (dinny not as much, but I did hear it) quite a bit growing up. Don't hear it as much these days, but it always meant a bit of an idiot to me. We do have some odd slang in Portsmouth! Does remind me being in the office and someone saying can you shut the doo...
Re: 992 S/T
It's a model from the late 60s according to the Top Gear article.. "Designed by Porsche as a present to itself on the 60th anniversary of the 911 (there’s 1,963 planned in honour of the birth year), the S/T revives a grand old name from 1969 when a 911 S was sprinkled with a touch of motorsport...
Re: 992 S/T
Is it essentially the 911R in 992 form with a slightly different name? It does look good, and I'd love to have one though. Shame I lack the funds

That did make me laugh. Comments on the post were suggesting it was all aimed at JWW as well as shmee.
Re: Twitter
Saw a post on Reddit saying Elon tried to rebrand PayPal to X.com in 2000, but was forced out by the board and replaced as CEO by someone else. So he's been waiting 23 years to roll it out again. Surely it will always been known and referred to as Twitter? And as an update for Threads as well, I see...

Re: Crap new Singer
I did see a clip on Instagram of that car at Goodwood. It did look disproportionately wide in video. Not sure I liked it in video form, just looked a bit odd.
Re: Twitter
Zuck said earlier 70m people had signed up, so guessing it’s off to a good start at least. I mainly look at twitter for FPL content and some football updates/news. I wasn’t desperate for a new twitter, but was easy to sign up and anyone I follow on instagram can be followed on threads now with one c...
Re: Twitter
If you type in the profile name, you can see the profile on the website. I've not worked out if you can login on the website and see a feed. If it's not available, hopefully a full functioning feed site like twitter appears soon enough. Example - https://www.threads.net/@skysports The app is OK for ...

Looks to be https://www.threads.net/ for the website version

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
They have proper bike lanes along Southsea sea front, but people use them to casually walk in or through and pay no attention to cyclists. I used to cycle down there a lot during lockdowns, but it's just way too busy these days which is a shame. I never really understood why people would walk in the...
Re: Twitter
I read they'd increase the limits now to 10,000 for twitter blue users, 1,000 for legacy users and 500 for new accounts (they had to increase it twice). I'm guessing people were hitting those limits pretty quickly. Apparently people were speed running getting timed out with new accounts. Took about ...

I like the orange one as well! They both kind of remind me of the GTA versions of 911s.

Re: Where are all the...
I saw something yesterday suggesting that the submersible lost contact pretty much every time it went down, which is why the alarm wasn't raised for 8 hours, which was the approximate tour time. Can't remember where I saw that though, so take it with a pinch of salt (might have been on Reddit). The ...

Re: The 5-figure post count club
I barely made it on to the 3rd page. Not sure if that's good or not. I mainly read rather than post though.
Feels a little slack with 3 digit posting record after 5 years.

Re: DB12
It looks a little like the DBS from that first picture. I'm still not 100% sold on the rear design though. I did see a video which showed the interior and that looked like a massive step on. The design lead was talking about how the software on the screen was all Aston Martin now. It looked alright ...
