Audi Q3/Q5?

Re: Your fleet running reports
The Mini was serviced at a main delaer recently. All JCW-derived cars need spark plugs changing at every service. Around 50 miles after the service (and a bit of a hoon) the engine warning light came on. I pulled over to carry our the usual IT trick of turning it off and then on, which didn't quite ...

Re: 4 Paw Dog Drive Fleet running report
Buster has been with us for over a year. It's my first dog and I'd never have guessed before I got him how much of an impact he'd have on my life - I can't remember what life was like before him :) https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1816/42220561360_e61e116271_z.jpg Buster by , on Flickr https://farm2.s...

Re: Contracting & tax & stuff for two people
OK, some clarification: Same as Rob's wife, she currently does my paperwork and is paid the appropriate salary through the existing company. Her annual net profit on this new work will be comfortably less than £40k, it's only 2 days a week ! Client is a large company that will do things "prope...

Re: Contracting & tax & stuff for two people
If her net profit (after expenses) is going to be under £30k I would keep it simple and do self assessment as a sole trader. My accountant knocked up a quick spreadsheet a few years ago showing the crossover point on ni/tax savings for a simple business as either a sole trader or ltd co. Hence my w...

Re: Contracting & tax & stuff for two people
The fees to change the structure of the business shouldn't be excessive, assuming it is merely transferring shares to your wife and potentially appointing her as a director. It'll certainly be a far cheaper than forming a new company and paying the annual accountancy costs of preparing the accounts/...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I know.... I do keep coming back to them. I'd even be tempted by the estate! I like the idea of a straight six though. Apparently they are doing an M340i version of the next 3 series - an estate version of that would work quite nicely :) ETA - although that presumes the new M340i will handle better...

Re: Your fleet running reports
That pretty much sums up what I've read. It's a real shame as it ticks a lot of required boxes (hatchback for the dog, 5 door/seats for work, reasonable economy and nice drivetrain) Golf R.... Re: Your fleet running reports
That's a great car combo 8-) I've always had a soft spot for the XFRs. Do the LCA help sharpen up the handling? An M140i is one of the contenders to replace the Mini GP in the next year or so, but I've read mixed reviews of what the M140i is like, handling-wise. It seems they can lose their composur...

Re: Seeing harrowing things
God yeah Mito, aftermath of fatal accidents is horrible - Like the driver that decided to commit suicide by driving at the back of a parked up Articulated Lorry - car turned into a convertible... I'm sure it will have been a seperate event, but someone committed suicide in the same manner, ...
Re: FFS!
Great picture - it's a fantastic road. I've only driven along it a handful of times, but I have fond memories of those times.
