Re: Your fleet running reports

I've felt for some time that VAG products are fairly flaky Duncs, but not sure if this is a more recent thing with them, as the testers suggested. Having driven/owned a few F-series BMWs I wouldn't be surprised if they're not much better. That's my worry TBH, I quite fancy a nicer daily, and would ...

In the same vein as the Lexus chat from the other day, this is lovely.

Re: Insurers (of all stripes)

Our 320d is due in a couple of weeks and the insurance has emailed a renewal quote that's cheaper than anything we'd been quoted the other day via the usual comparison sites. Go figure πŸ€”πŸ€”

Re: Crumbing parents

Mine are getting on. Dad has just turned 80 and mum is 78. Both are in fine health, especially Dad. They're always out walking or doing stuff. Plus they do a lot of the school pick ups and quite often have my daughter and her cousin over for sleepovers. Dad stopped riding a motorbike at 77 as it was...

I've seen over 70p/kWh :o

Another reason why I'm glad I can home charge.
I paid up to 80p when I had that i4 for a couple of weeks. It worked out at twice the price of petrol

I went to a Tesla dealership today to have a look at a model Y long range. I have an opportunity to order a new car and Tesla is an itch that I really want to scratch. Re: Smart Thermostats

Maybe so but t warms the kitchen, hall, downstairs loo, etc as well as the bathroom towels rail and only need to be on for 20 mins to be effective. House is a nice temp when we come downstairs too.

We have cast iron rads through the house and they work a treat.

Re: Smart Thermostats

This is the beauty of smart TRV's with your smart stat. You can set the system up to do that. I have ours come on early in the morning to warm the towels. Every room with a smart TRV stays off.

Re: Smart Thermostats

I've got a load of Netatmo stuff now as it's easy to install and use. I have two smart smoke alarms and a smart CO alarm that self test and report. There is also an internal and external weather station that links up with the smart thermostat for real-time weather at home and how it heats the house....

Re: Smart Thermostats

I found my Wiser dead when I wanted to turn the heating on a couple of weeks ago. New batteries and havimg to factory reset and re-pair was a pain; I wouldn't buy another. But it is working again and since the programmes are stored remotely it didn't lose any of the stored settings. That's not our ...

CBD and THC are different though. CBD is legal and can be bought in many different forms.

THC is what gets you battered, and is still illegal. You can buy THC edibles and capes though via less than legal sources.
