Re: Celebrity locals.
Realised how few famous people seem to live in Cheltenham. Lily Allen just the other side of it, Damien Hirst has a big house he’s been doing up for a decade nearer to Tewkesbury; Simon Pegg came from Gloucester but doesn’t live there now. I’ve seen Dom Joly in town a couple of times. Kate Moss is ...

Used to drink Faxe at uni, never realised they did a 10% one. Probably for the best.

Re: Drugs
Yeah, but it sounds like hard work, and fuck me I'm not up for that. (Honestly, running is physically extremely uncomfortable because of the various wobbly bits that bounce around - if I drop a bit of fat it's something I might look into if it makes maintaining core strength simpler) “You can’t out...

Re: Eddie v Hathfor
Yeah wasn’t great but never was going to be.
Eddie hall has the strangest style and stance I’ve ever seen. Obviously hasn’t learnt a lot.
Thor had the right idea using his height/reach to hold him off with the jab until he could land a right.

Re: Cheltenham
Drowned in expensive cheap beer. :( Despite spending 43 years of my life in Cheltenham and Gloucester I've never been to the racecourse when there have been horses there. Thanks for the update Jim. HTH. It's a shithole full of braying tossers in red trousers. I'll be sure to update if there's any f...

He’s alright. It’s her uncle that was/is in the club for LEGITIMATE ITALIAN BUSINESSMEN.
Tagliatelle or Bucatini is DIR, so I’m told.

Re: Which spaghetti is the best type of pasta?
My mrs is Italian so has some strong opinions on this. When I cook pasta I boil the water in a kettle first. This is apparently all kinds of wrong and the water MUST be boiled in the pan. What difference it makes is anybody's guess. She also grassed me up to her Dad for dipping my pizza crust in ket...
Re: Ukraine
I think the Chinese are smarter than the Russians, commercially speaking. They know which side their bread is buttered and can see where Russia’s economy is heading right now. That’s not the right horse to bet on. I watched an ex MI6 bloke on YouTube this morning at the Oxford Union who pretty much...

Sounds like an MX5 and a shower cap. Or stretch your budget and haggle/ https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202202212805062?atmobcid=soc4 Yeah, everything seems to point MX=5. I’ve been told early Z4s are pretty unreliable. FWIW my 2003 3.0 was ok. It had a faulty crank sensor at about 60k (do...
