Re: Convertibles in this weather
The Mustang which I had in Cali last year didn't seem to have a wind deflector, which made any journey with the roof down at speed fairly uncomfortable. Eh? I'm even more convinced you never actually drove a Mustang out there. Ours is fine, you can have a conversation in the car without raising you...

Re: Adios manuel
Manuals have been dying out for a while now, the autos have upped their game over the last ten or so years so it's no surprise really.

Re: Convertibles in this weather
Convertibles also bring out the worst in people. Saw a morbidly obese woman with purple hair sprawled across both seats of her convertible Vauxhall Astra :o Convertibles in the shape of diesels and Vauxhalls should be banned, in fact they could be used as a test to weed out those who are going to b...

Re: Convertibles in this weather
V8 mustang pulled up at the lights as I returned from dug walk tonight. He saw my smile and gave it a few beans appropriately. Lovely. 8-) 8-) I just hope with them now being available in RHD they don't ever fall into the chav category or we'll lose out on that/I can afford one as a project and bol...

Convertibles in this weather
With a V8 engine. Fuck yes. I've found a real enjoyment in cars despite the morons on the road

Re: Can we have some moderators?
Ironically, given this specific example, Tim made me an Admin of the Facebook group. 😁 I was actually on about Evostick Tim, hence the fucking up the car purchase reference. You clearly don’t fucking know me at all. I was actually a mod on Gixxer.com for about 5 years, back when it has loads of tra...

Re: The neighbours
I love my neighbours. We see them maybe twice a year, which we acknowledge with a nod, but otherwise we don’t hear a peep out of them. Best friends I ever had. We have that the other way, only he shows interest in the cars (he's got a mint Eunos tucked away in his garage and a Puma at their other p...

Re: Can we have some moderators?
See Miks post which is correct, the reason it's worked so far is because it's a level playing field and you either fit in, argue the point or flounce. Give someone like Rev admin rights and the next time someone disagrees with him, or Tim tells him he's fucked up the simple act of buying a car agai...

The neighbours
Every single day we have weather decent enough to sit out they BBQ their food outside. Surely that’s not something to moan about!? Well specifically that but isn’t. But what really hacks people off is they always, without fail, cremate fish. No other food is burned, last year when the weather was go...

Re: Can we have some moderators?
I'd say you're pretty wrong on that count OC. Seeing as the evo forum was pretty much self regulating, and there's been no incidents here, I'd argue almost any current member could be trusted to be a moderator. I imagine you really wouldn't have to do much apart from admin work. See Miks post which...

I genuinely don't think there is. Although watching JL piss off a moderator could be funny.NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 8:56 pmRude.Orange Cola wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 8:52 pm Apart from Matty I genuinely don't think there's anyone on here we can trust.

No F1 thread?
Nice to see Ferrari didn't run away with it this weekend, keeps the hopes up of a decent season.

Re: The idle dreaming “what next” thread.
My idle "what next" is a faster Mustang of some form, as if my first one isn't quick enough as it is. I'm thinking either a used Shelby GT350 as a project to get it back to good original condition or an 18MY+ to get the A10 gearbox, Shelby Chassis parts and do that as a project adding some...

I enjoyed that race. I don't want Ferrari to win it this year!

Re: Worst case of 40mph everywhere folk
Ignoring the obvious question of how someone so stupid can afford a Tesla, any car manufacturer calling any in-car function an 'Autopilot' is asking for trouble frankly. Point is though that they describe it as a suite of assistance systems. Full autopilot isn't ready yet, and won't be for a while ...

Have you tried some penetrating lube or warming them up first before you go in hard?
