Re: Flipping my seat belt buckle... Possible MOT failure?
@Hates_ assumed you'd be going straight to harnesses when you got the Tilletts TBH. I was hoping to keep both as the lap belt can be a bit more convenient when trying to move my head forward to see traffic lights  TBH it's such a faff now trying to pass it through the hole that I might just fo...

Flipping my seat belt buckle... Possible MOT failure?
I can only get my seatbelt buckle to fit between my new seat rail and centre console by flipping it around. Would this cause any issues come MOT time? As you can see the release is on the inside facing the seat, as opposed to outside. Ignore the bunching of the harness as I've moved it all around si...

Tillet seat arrived today. Now I just have a bit of a wait for the rails and padding to go with it.

Re: Would you 992 GT3RS?
Good luck getting one for £178k  Whenever I think about these types of cars and how much they cost, I just can't see how I would ever enjoy them. You have to have astronomical amounts of money to have the confidence to exploit and enjoy them, otherwise, how could you not live in fear of damagin...

Re: 992 GT3-RS
The amount of aero is something else. I have to admit I'm not too keen on the look in white with all the black aero elements, but I'd still have one in a heartbeat if I could.

Beford Autodrome done. Took a while to understand the layout but had an absolute blast.
I finally managed to find a set of Lotus forged rims. This will get the car back to it's factory sports pack spec. Very happy indeed!

Re: Track Day Instruction
I've decided I might invest in a cheap walkie-talkie with headsets. I'd rather pay £25 for something I can use over and over, if it means the experience of getting instruction is better.

Track Day Instruction
Is it just me, or is it basically impossible to hear what the instructor is telling you? Even told the guy I had today that I was hard of hearing, just to try and get him to speak up, but made no difference.
I wish they provided some sort of simple helmet comms system (even if slightly unhygienic).

Should have posted here that I got to see one in person at Hethel on the weekend. Looks great in the flesh and the proportions are just right IMO. I wasn't too interested in it until actually getting to see one.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Had a cracking track day at Hethel on Saturday. Just mindblowing how much faster I was after a tuition session. I thought my brakes were fading before realising I was going just that much faster. No photography was allowed except the welcome centre, where I got to get up close to this beauty. https:...

Mercedes G-Wagen Intruder Concept by Heuliez
Saw this while looking at DKeng's site. Definitely not my cup of tea, and definitely not for £174k, despite its heritage. https://www.dkeng.co.uk/sales_images/1590966000/large_1591033663_intruder_14.jpg https://www.dkeng.co.uk/ferrari-sales/1225/blue_chip_competition_cars/mercedes_g_wagen_intruder_c...
