Re: Your fleet running reports
Better tyres will transform it too. If you think it’s good now you’ll be blown away when you get those Toyo’s off. Yeah, I was a bit :? when I saw what was on there. Is there anything, in particular, you'd recommend? There are a million tyre threads but hard to know what's best especially with the ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Out of interest (I am not a motorbiker) why have you lost interest on the motorbike side? Commuting was a big factor in riding motorbikes, and the last two years have seen me ride my bike once. And as my son has grown up my appetite for risk has gone way down, so I was starting to not enjoy blastin...

Re: Gran Turismo 7
Have to say I'm really impressed with how good using motion control is! Not so impressed with the recent patches and how much harder grinding for cars has become.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Picked up the 111R today. Sadly it was a 4-hour drive back on the motorway, which wasn't very thrilling. Was surprisingly comfy and quiet, sitting at 70mph in 6th gear. Ankles were cramping halfway home! Took every opportunity at roundabouts to experience what it feels like to corner on rails. Feels...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Had a fun hour at Jon Seal Sportscars. Ended up putting a deposit down on the blue one. Also got to poke around the GT3RS, that is a car to die for.

Tyre fitters profit margin
Had a mobile tyre fitter come round to put some new boots on and I'm wondering how they can be making much, considering the price is not that much different to just buying the tyres from somewhere like BlackCircles.
Does anyone know what the profit margins are like on tyres?

Tool Chests
Any tool chest recommendations? I keep looking at the Halfords Advanced ones when they come up on sale but have no idea if there is better for less. Their advanced range seem a lot better than the standard range, but I do keep seeing ads for chests that are sub £200.

Re: The Motorbikerist Thread
Shame about the SD going but if you don’t get the opportunity to stretch its legs it does seem a bit pointless keeping it. Yeah. No doubt that the engine is incredible, but I ride it at a fraction of what it's capable of. The chance to really open it rarely happens, where as the 690 I can wring the...

Re: Office Chairs
Had an Aeron, a Steelcase Leap and now have a Humanscale. Can't go wrong with any of them IMO. My only complaint of the Aeron is that it takes up a lot of space.

Insurance quote & vehicle value
When shopping around for renewal quotes, what's the right answer for vehicle value? Is it what I paid for it, even if I bought it four years ago, or is it what I deem it to be valued at now?
