Have to say I'm really impressed with how good using motion control is! Not so impressed with the recent patches and how much harder grinding for cars has become.

Picked up the 111R today. Sadly it was a 4-hour drive back on the motorway, which wasn't very thrilling. Was surprisingly comfy and quiet, sitting at 70mph in 6th gear. '06 111R with a few mods. Lost my appetite for riding motorbikes so thought this was the next best thing.

Had a fun hour at Jon Seal Sportscars. Ended up putting a deposit down on the blue one. Also got to poke around the GT3RS, that is a car to die for.

Whether correct or not, enjoyed this journey through the history of Lotus.

Had a mobile tyre fitter come round to put some new boots on and I'm wondering how they can be making much, considering the price is not that much different to just buying the tyres from somewhere like BlackCircles.

Any tool chest recommendations? I keep looking at the Halfords Advanced ones when they come up on sale but have no idea if there is better for less. Their advanced range seem a lot better than the standard range, but I do keep seeing ads for chests that are sub £200.

Had an Aeron, a Steelcase Leap and now have a Humanscale. Can't go wrong with any of them IMO. My only complaint of the Aeron is that it takes up a lot of space.

Been a while, but small update from me. Sold the 1290 SDR and picked up another 690
