Re: Randomness
They are a menace in certain areas around here but can you imagine the uproar if out police did that? Don't get me wrong, I think they should but the officers would be the ones on trial.

Re: Pole/extended hedge trimmers
In my experience you're better off buying one of those transforming ladders with platforms. I tried doing out hedge with and extending trimmer and they are too unwieldy at height. I know use a platform and feel far safer and it's easier to get a decent cut

Re: No F1 thread?
So if the engines are going to be working flat out as generators thereby using more fuel, does that not make the use of a hybrid powertrain pointless?

I think Merc are the only one of the main brands where "Black Series" is a technology and performance moniker rather than a trim level. (their Black Trim options is Night Edition) https://www.mercedes-amg.com/en/home/stories/Black-Series-History.html#:~:text=Ralf%20Sporr%20(RS)%3A%20In,cr...

Re: Your fleet running reports
2000 miles in with the 330e and it’s doing exactly what I bought it for, performance of a petrol with economy of a diesel. Average 51mpg since purchase. You can certainly feel the extra weight and in comfort mode it will understeer a bit but sport mode sharpens it all up, a lot more noticeably than ...

Re: Decent Recent TV
I binged it at the weekend and agree it's a great watch, really entertaining and well paced. It feels like it gave Guy Ritchie enough space to fill-out the characters and plot lines that wouldn't fit in a 2 hour movie. Just on episode 3, while driving the McLaren " the clutch takes some gettin...

FiL is wanting to sell his car (62 plate Mk6 Golf Match 1.4TSi DSG w/70k miles) as he'll probably have to give up driving due to health issues. Either way it is a second car that spends most days sat unused in front of th...
