I've only just realised that they meant V EIGHT.
I read it in a cockney accent and it all became clear.

If you find a garage that sells it on a top shelf, what is it then?

Sorry.
I had a couple of San Miguels at lunch. Can someone explain.
Oh good, I don't get it either!

Re: 2005 Sharan - what do we know?

For a budget like that I'd be looking at Gumtree etc and hope to stumble accross one that's been looked after and the owner has had it for a decent length of time. The fact that the dealer can't even be arsed to clean that shit heap up before photographing it should tell you all you need to know.

Yes it's good, it's the mountain bike equivalent of a barn find! Still on original tyres it had that little use.

Re: Randomness

If a 30 odd tonne truck can stop like that why don't cars have similar tech? I'm aware some cars have auto braking but it still uses the cars normal braking system, not the huge stopping power those things have. The ultimate stopping power of a car is limited by the tyres, abs gets pretty much as c...

FAO MTB'ers

I know there are a few on here who are quite big into it. Can you point me in the direction of any good forums where I can advertise my C16 R for sale? I posted on a couple of retro bike forums asking what it's worth but had no response.

Re: Adios manuel

In don't understand why people with no interest in driving, buy cars with manual 'boxes. I have a huge interest in driving but I see manual boxes as old tech like carburettors and brake drums. The technology has moved on, if you belive pressing a pedal to change gear somehow makes you a better driv...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Wanged one of the alloys on my M3 against a kerb today. Bollocks. The only downside with the Michelin Super Sports is they don't have as much rim protection compared to Goodyears/Vredesteins. Oh well, the gouge is only about 1" long, so can probably be repaired, rather than the wheel needing a...

There are dedicated bug and tar removers, I've used a couple to good effect in the past, no idea what effect they would have on Rainx though.
