Re: Your fleet running reports
Yeti passenger wing mirror glass fell out. We have it and it's in one piece. Can I just glue it back into the plastic shell? Any particular best adhesive for that?

Less weight but higher centre of gravity. Fold the rear seats flat to compensate 😄 Rear seats definitely folded.IMG_0150.jpeg Glad you posted that - wasn't it quite an effort to get the backrest re-fitted last year? Most of the effort was me sourcing some cheap carpet to cover the backs of th...

Re: Your fleet running reports
It's a very worn slick. I still have them, solely for the purposes of laying the sump guard on to fit/remove. Last used at Brands on a trackday where I spent most of the day watching my mirrors and being overtaken. Front left came off the rim - not ideal, but no harm done. Yeah, I'll take the weight...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Fabia finally has a new clutch. Sump guard mounting bar was in the way and the captive nuts were knackered (I thought it was welded on, obviously hadn't looked closely enough at it  ) so the bolts had to be cut through. So need to get some new captive nuts put in to remount it to be able to put...

Looks lovely for an older fella. Panels don't quite line up above the headlight?

Re: Enhanced Games
Can't tell, is it actually an event (run on the last day of the Paris Olympics?) or a documentary, or both? Can only see one person announced as signed up for it so far, an Aussie swimmer. You'd think they'd need plenty of time to train/experiment, especially if they are all retired athletes you may...

Not looking for co-drivers in this case. For autosolos you're on your own. Just if anyone fancied doing it in their own car.

Just signed up for an autosolo in Abingdon on 8th June if anyone fancies also entering. Will be the first event in 12 months. I may be a bit rusty.

Re: Cholestorol and heart disease.
Been taking statins since I was 15. Mum was diagnosed with high cholesterol around then. It's genetic - familiar hypercholesterolaemia. She's had two heart bypasses - one double, one triple. I'd like to avoid it, but I also like the occasional bit of red meat and other non-ideal dietary items. Curr...

Re: VOIP Phones
I just renewed for another 12 months on the (PlusNet) service where I get to keep the land line. Not that we use it, except when my wife forgets to use her mobile and we get hit with a call charge as we opted out of the anytime package. In that case just pick one of the providers that port your land...

Why do goats need a donkey? Genuine question. Are they not satisfied by other goats?
Re beekeeping, a colleague is massively into it, so any tips required, I'm sure I could ask him.
