So much of a yes, I'm even trying (ish) to cook them like this myself at home. Obviously made much easier in Japan given you can eat raw eggs there safely.

Re: Cycling Thread

I’ve just upgraded mine, i now have a 220mm front disc 200mm rear with 4 pot calipers (Magura MT7)

I've been looking at those for a little while myself, just very hard to get here it seems and not much in the way of spares etc. Been wondering whether the new Mavens would do the same thing ...

Possibly ftao of @KiwiDave - another track that I'm loving the drums on. (Although from a production perspective I'd like the cymbals and hi-hat to be a smidge crisper / out front). Wads of energy and some sneaky snare and kick drum hits where I wasn't expecting them. 8-)

Really deep bass tones ...

Re: Sim Tracks Once Hated Now Loved

Bathurst (on GT7) is a great circuit - you're right in that adding what seems like 1% of commitment or smoothness over the top somehow seems to unlock so much time. Learning to get up into that window to be brushing every turn with your wing mirrors is super hard and rewarding. I'd very much like to ...

Re: Earthquake / Tsunami

We were on tsunami watch late last night. The house is 9m from the sea and about 3m up. Everyone in NZ told to get off the water, take large vessels out to sea away from moorings etc. but no one told to evacuate and that no risk to coastal properties. They were right, though we have a drain that ...

Re: Motosport / Car Memorabilia

That's 20,000 shades of cool as fuck. Does it have glass in it?

I spent a lot of time getting into shooting panoramic images, kinda before software did it all for you and there was a heap of technique involved. I then promptly realised printing any and framing them became really hard because a ...

Re: Motosport / Car Memorabilia

I have a few Guy Allen numbered prints and an original Nurburgring poster from the 70's all of which need framing. Also an original from Jo Burt of the immortal Mint Sauce - but that's MTB not cars. Also needs framing.

Which leads me to the next question... We need to see the 9ft HK panorama.
