Re: Bicyclist thread

Excellent. Now pondering one of these https://www.evanscycles.com/specialized-levo-ht-2019-electric-mountain-bike-EV337893 on the Cycle To Work scheme, to clutter the garage a little more. I can tell you if you can find a 2018 version anywhere as super old stock, it's a much better bike than the 20...

Re: Fiat 850 sedan thread

Yes, they’re based on the original 600. I avoid anything to do with Fiat like the fucking plague, but I'm assuming a 600 is like a 500 but 100 better? I know the original 500 was rear engined, and the Abarth had the prop up rear deck... TBH the one I saw today sounded really tasty, old school carb ...

Wouldn't that be what they call the "engine", Dave?
I dunno is it? I haven't a fucking clue about these, CBF reading up on them> Are they rear engine air cooled?

I saw a white 850 Sport this afternoon - would never have paid any attention to it but after this thread I knew what it was straight away. Sounded quite rorty! Also seemed to have a huge heat sync finned diff kinda thing slung out back?

Re: H.C.O.C (Henry Catchpole on Carfection)

Ford Raptor is #1 selling vehicle in New Zealand - seeing heaps and heaps of these everywhere, ours come with the Ecoboost. I quite fancy a go after taking my mate's normal Ranger into forests... Also FYI, #2 selling car in NZ is a Hilux, #3 is normally Mitsubishi Triton (but this last period it's t...

Re: Bicyclist thread

I'm not sure I see the point. If it's to have a twin crown DH bike with motor, then for DH I'd rather have a non e-bike for the agility. If it's to ride everywhere, I'd rather have an EMTB that's more tailored to riding everything - see Turbo Levo or the more DH orientated YT Decoy. And fuck having ...

20" Rogers B8 bronze crash ride cymbal - should sound like balls but sounds like angels. Circa 1940 (I think)

Re: Porsche 718 Spyder/GT4

I thought they'd said the numbers weren't limited and they'll make them as long as anyone wants one? You could go into your local Porsche dealer, try order one and report back. :P I mean if I had the cash I would... but seriously, I don't think it's like that here, or at least not as much. *fingers...

Re: Porsche 718 Spyder/GT4

With each generation, I'm liking the Cayman more and more, and as the 911 gets more lardy I like it less and less. My mate has a 991.2 Manuel GT3 Clubsport with the carbon buckets, and genuinely its the best car i have ever driven, by a county mile, he recently fitted an exhaust as well, its ridicu...

Re: Lego

I got the new Mustang built up this week while prepping for an operation. Temptation proved too much and I dug out the old F40 and Caterham sets that I built ages ago but the ex smashed up - I did the lot and they now adorn the office with the two GT3s... I might have a problem.
