Re: Food Fred
Duncs - I'd be interested to see that recipe if you wouldn't mind sharing. This is basically what I tried to make, I think the full detailed recipe is behind a pay wall, but between what he's saying and the images in the reel it's basically enough to give it a good go. https://www.instagram.com/ree...
Re: Food Fred
I made a lacto fermented chilli sauce the other day. Interesting, I will try it again.
Re: Dangerous beers...
@Gavster did you try that Days stuff? I haven't tried it but they seem to be really pushing it to me on social media. Nope not seen that one. I was just working through whatever I could find in the supermarkets so if it was online only it would have passed me by Supposedly available in Tesco, but I...

Re: Drunk Purchases
My drunk purchasing doesn't tend to extend beyond my immediate needs like food and more booze.

Re: The Weather Thread.
I set an alarm to see if I could see anything, but our neighbourhood is too well lit at night, couldn't see anything or be bothered to go down the lane into the dark in the hope of getting a better look. I'll just have to see it the old fashioned way some day.

Re: People (Office)
I like going into the office. If the pressure is on I get loads done at home (and would rather save the commute time), but if I'm scratching around a bit I get more of the side tasks done in the office. I don't get in our office much though, I'm a couple of days a fortnight at a site in Plymouth, so...

@Ascender I reckon you've got some good stuff there. Beware someone on the Starwars forum saying "Nah, it's not worth much, but I'll take it off your hands".

Re: No F1 thread?
Only managed to watch the Sky highlights on YT and read the race report, but it did sound like Ferrari and McLaren were close to Max's pace? Was it a circuit / conditions specific anomaly or might it be worth watching a few more races this season after all!?

Re: Pakora in Inglandcestirshire?
They claimed to be fans of Indian food, but one of them got a Korma, so - obviously - I am a little suspicious. More than a little! Should have been out on their ear at that point. Pakoras are definitely a thing down here. I tend not to order them on their own but still have them when one get...

Re: Where would you live?
That ticks a lot of boxes for me. Same, just a shame about where in the country it is. But then if it was down here it would be £2m without the land. If it wasn't for my mum I would seriously consider moving away, possibly further north as my job contract is now totally flexible and just travel dow...

Looking around me out of curiosity. https://www.zoopla.co.uk/new-homes/details/66081054/?search_identifier=f11dbab07f2301809cb2e31e2c78d851694714a07d57e5f0132301ab5175481a There is some more attractive stuff but this ticks a few of the boxes, £100k left over for the pool. Lacking a bit of soul thoug...
