Re: Panicky overtakees

It's not the break lights that bother me, it's the mid-overtake wobble where they seem to drift a wheel across the white line as you pass alongside.

Re: NC500 in 3 days

Thanks for putting some time into the write up! I really enjoyed reading it, I was traveling to Plymouth and the installments seemed to fall nicely around the day.

Really want to take the family up sometime, it's such a brilliant and beautiful place to travel round.

Re: No F1 thread?

Interesting, as they say, if they've stolen a march on the tech then that'll take teams time to catch up. Pretty impossible to outlaw as well, as AFAIK all the FIA tests are load and geometry. They're not going to be in a position to do testing of material composition.

Re: Sycamore from Sycamore Gap..,

I appreciate that in a position of denying a charge they won't say, but it would be fascinating to hear their explanation as to why they did it. Given the premeditation and effort involved, there has to more than just "we were pissed and thought it would be funny LOLZ".

Let me know how you get on, I really ought to do it. Although it's been behaving itself lately, it's a very old battery.

The release of the Weber Searwood passed me by, looks to be an intriguing proposition! I am still very happy with my set up though, and haven't even used the smoker this year yet (the shame), so couldn't justify it.

Re: Your fleet running reports

I looked at Lithium batteries when (I thought) mine had died on the 4C - lots of other had done it; but the cost, lifespan (short and longterm) plus the need for a specific charger meant it wasn't worth the investment, IMO....maybe if you're desperately chasing weight reduction across the board? I ...

Re: No F1 thread?

Been in catch up mode this morning, some good action so far this weekend. Anyone know why Max didn't get a penalty for being out of his grid box in the sprint? In the end it didn't matter, but still a strange one.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Are you hoping for publicity from this project or is it purely a personal thing? It started as my personal project but morphed into something much bigger as the years went by and I’ve since started a new business and brought two other guys on board. Plan is to launch it to the public some time this...

Definitely seems to be a lot of it around, my wife was up against a colleague for redundancy a few weeks ago. TBH our preference was that she got it actually, but apparently she comfortably out performed her colleague (and also friend*, awkward) in the reviews. Now she's effectively been left with t...
