Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

I think saying that you want/expect your politicians to be honest is such a truism that it’s redundant. I can’t imagine that anyone wants mps who lie to them. Of course everyone wants it, but nobody expects it. Nor do I, but I still can't bring myself to think not one of them is acting in our inter...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

I certainly don't agree with tactical voting, just vote for what you believe in IMO. If you don't want to vote because you don't like any option, I think that's fine too. I have to believe that any individual isn't a complete shyster until they prove they are though, so to consider all politicians u...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

I’m not voting because I have some ridiculous notion that if turnout is historically low all the parties might have a think about why that might be and make some changes. I know they won’t, but none of them deserve the effort to get out and cross the box. That's is a ridiculous notion , but yo...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

I wouldn’t be so sure tbh. Like I said, it’s this kind of stuff that’s driving core Labour voters away. Very short sighted imo. My guess is that amount of core Labour voters that are going to turn up and put a cross in any other box than Labour over this (or anything else) is miniscule. They'll all...

Plus, I've won the euromills, I'll get a T50 anyway, probably not a Singer but definitely a 911K.

Re: Choose

I feel like you need a creative outlet mik. I did have to pause on this briefly, because I do really like the T50. The engine is wild, I can't believe how much it weighs, looks might be a little plain but I don't think that would phase me. However, the F1 is just too special to ignore. I'm just...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

Fully selfishly, and on the assumption that we're going to get a Labour government, I'd like to know their plans for funding Defence. Not the headline hand waving soundbite stuff, but whether the £2bn programme I'm working on is going to get instantly canned  IIRC Starmer has already said he a...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

He has said he’ll roll back the Rwanda policy, hasn’t he?? Thats because it's dumb, hugely expensive and won't work. Was it ever supposed to work in practical terms? It only needs to create enough headlines that those headlines propagate throughout the migrant groups and make them believe that if t...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

I wouldn't vote Lib Dem now because they had their chance, fucked it up and aren't in any way a party capable of running the country. It was nearly a decade ago, at some point people are going to need to move past it. No, they're not going to run the country, but in decent numbers they can provide ...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

Looks like the misinformation campaign has begun, I'm already getting posts from Labour on my FB feed with some made up graphs telling me that the only way to get the Tories out of my constituency is a tactical vote for Labour. Which can only be complete nonsense, Labour were a distant third in 2019...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

I for one am already looking forward to buying an f40 with all the extra money I as a normal boring working person will have after a couple of years of labour government 😎 I think the point is, whilst you won't get an F40 with either colour government, hopefully you won't be paying for one of the P...

Re: Seatbelts on planes

I always have my seatbelt on, even when in a flat bed (on an aircraft).. also, taxying on the ground; if we’ve thrown the anchors out on landing, the breaks can get quite grabby so I’d recommend waiting for the seatbelt signs are turned off, especially in the US as the vehicles on the apron are unc...

Probably end of June/beginning of July. I've got quite a bit on during the next month so delivery timescale is as much dependent on my diary
Ooh, that's quick. Plenty of fun to be had with that this summer then. 8-)

Re: Seatbelts on planes

I do tend to unbuckle when we are on the ground taxiing, but I keep it done up all flight. Just slackened off a bit while eating or sleeping. Same... just common sense right? And make sure its above clothing/blanket so I don't get bothered and the cabin crew can see its on. Simples. Almost the same...

8-) Nice. I can understand where you're coming from with all your logic with the Emira, but I don't see why the special-ness of it would wane? I don't think it would for me. I've seen quite a few now, and consistently gives me a feeling I've seen something a bit special (something for Porsches only ...

Re: Ebrahim Raisi

If it was an accident the timing is pretty unfortunate for regional stability, mind you, I think with states like Iran you are probably equally as likely to be bumped off by your internal political rivals as those of another state. Who gets blamed officially could also vary depending on the optics o...

Re: Fury vs Usyk

Very impressive from Usyk. He's a proper boxer. I don't know much about boxing, however that sounds spot on. Fury looks like a person who was born with a freakishly exceptional talent for dodging punches and hitting people, almost like he has a sixth sense. Coupled with a good physique for it, for ...

Re: Rum Fred

Is it just me or is rum one of the best drinks for keeping hangovers under control? I don’t find that because rums tend to be pretty drinkable so it’s far too easy to do in a bottle 😂 It's something I sometimes switch to when I've had my fill of beer, and I'm usually surprised by the bearable hango...

I'd like to have a good bottle of rum in the house for special occasions.
