Re: The Music Thread
Keeping on the drumming, I've watched this guy's channel a few times, but hadn't seen this reaction video from a few months back. Here's a 9yo crushing Slipknot :

Re: Servicing costs.
BMW were pushing hard to sign me up for a £110/month service plan, I didnt bother as it only needed a £250 main dealer service during the warranty period and there is an independent with a good reputation in Worcester. A main dealer quoted circa £1500 for oil and brake fluid, oil filter, air filter...

Re: Servicing costs.
Even so.
The amount you'd save by going Indy you could stick in a pot for any disasters you're hoping the warranty will cover.

Re: Servicing costs.
I did extend the warranty and need to keep it dealer serviced to validate that. The 4 year service has replacement plugs and brake fluid changed, plus 'a thorough video made of the underside for you sir.' I'll see if Nottingham Porsche is any less expensive. £2k for some plugs and brake fluid? And ...

Re: Kids of today….
It's easy to think all kids are like this but it's certainly not the case. One example - my lad loves watching the Mr Hewes channel and it's great to see that so many of the lads on there are in their early 20s and already have an almost intuitive understanding of whatever military/agricultural vehi...

Re: The Music Thread
I've found myself getting into a lot of Sleep Token this year - the music, just to be clear. The whole worship bollocks they spout can GTF. Until recently they were an "anonymous collective" but some were determined to sleuth who they were. Anyway, the drummer's not too shabby: Hypnosis is...

Not sure where the right place to post this is, but the long silence of output from Pollits Projects has been explained today. https://twitter.com/DeborahMattocks/status/1840811437192614298?t=JQ6vXl8kys3TrYmkDUbwHw&s=19 That's terrible, I had noticed the tone of his twitter output get darker ea...

Re: Damage from Neighbours Vegetation
I'd just spray it myself and move on. I know someone who's had knotweed on their boundary with disused rail land and they continue to defend their liability saying its come from elsewhere rather than do something about. This has gone on for over a decade! Fucking hell that's pretty disgraceful beha...

Re: Damage from Neighbours Vegetation
Sounds like you’re within your rights to climb over your fence, whilst remaining on your property and cut the invading plants. Far half the length of the boundary the two fences are virtually up against each other. For the other half the gap is literally only just enough to stand in - if you're 10s...

Re: Damage from Neighbours Vegetation
Wow! Some sensible responses from people that understood the question. This is not like the internet  To answer a few queries: The NR land is trackside - passenger and freight (GM waste to Teeside EfW, aggregates from Buxton-Northwich and wood pellets from Liverpool-Drax for anyone that's inter...

Damage from Neighbours Vegetation
I got no common sense answer to this query on PH (not surprised really) so would be interested if anyone (Jobbo) can answer this. What are one's rights when it comes to vegetation that is coming through a boundary and causing damage to the boundary - i.e. a close-boarded fence? In this case it's ivy...

What are you opening the glovebox with if you don't need to take your hands off the wheel?
(I did say both hands )
Re: EV Thread
Not the glovebox, googled it because I figured he might be trying to make something seem stupider than it is for effect, but that is genuinely the only way to get in the glovebox https://www.polestar.com/us/manual/polestar-3/2025/article/47d2c97fd33effd3c0a8cc3718c999b7-e4fb9c395547cc0ac0a8b09717b7...

Flashlight, spare charging cables, spare usb charger and wheel nut key, cds for the CD changer and a card with the RAC number on it. Every month the flashlight is checked, as is my emergency grab bag and full first aid kit. It’s good to be prepared. Dave! Good God I read that wrong for a second the...
