Re: Tesla Cyberpuke

It’s weird really, the US used to have really over the top regulations, resulting in huge diving board impact bumpers, side marker lights, universal size headlight etc, yet have a stupidly backwards brake / tail / indicator setup and seemingly the truck industry is allowed to pretty much self regul...

Re: Tesla Cyberpuke

It's those fucking sharp edges that do it for me. One of those hitting a pedestrian would be fatal. Someone said ' it's the bully XL' of the car world. Fully agree This. Many of the other imports are IVA'd. I'd imagine there's jack shit chance of the Cyberwank passing an IVA with it's lethal edges

Dave!
But still a massive c*** for driving around on public roads in a non IVA'd or type approved car.

Re: Tesla Cyberpuke

It isn't the same one - Yianni's isn't wrapped (odd when he runs a wrapping business). Yianni also posted a video two days ago of touring the UK in his  He can only claim to be the second person in the UK to get his Cybertruck seized at best. Bad for clicks. Hasn't been seized so far as I am ...

Looks like the one above also has an Albanian plate. Let's hope if it isn't the same one as that other pillock's that his gets seized as well, especially as the dumbass has uploaded videos of it being driven on UK roads

Re: What phone?

A couple of the kids in my son's class (Yr4) have had them for 2-3 years now. Absolute madness imo, but looking at the parents I'm not surprised. The same are also gaming online as far as I know.

Re: Your fleet running reports

I also ran low on screen wash yesterday. The mito is particularly annoying as with the headlights on it washes the lights every single time you use the washers to clean the screen so seems to guzzle gallons of the stuff, and the washer bottle is pretty small. Thinking of sticking a switch in the fe...

Re: What phone?

I do remember a lot of the brands that you used to get bullied for as a teenager, seem to be popular brands more recently. I remember having a pair of Fila trainers, and they weren't popular at all. Fast forward to more recent times, and they seem to be at least acceptable to wear. I'm still not su...

Re: What phone?

Fila were not cool when I started senior school in 99/00. At least at my school, they were seen as similar to Donnay etc. The sort of cheaper stuff that was sold in Sports Direct at the time was enough to be ripped apart. Had to appear more "premium" from other shops to avoid the comments...

Re: What phone?

I had a pair of Simod at a fairly critical age. Then one day one of the quickest runners in our year had forgotten his trainers so asked to borrow mine. Much piss ripping later he realised he had little other choice. He went and set a new lap record for the school's annual x-country race

RIC - the answer is whatever iPhone her bestie has (as long It’s not a iPhone 87 super mega plus pro extra or whatever tf the top model is now). Peer pressure and conformity is real, whatever the 40-50yo male geeks here think is cool is highly likely not aligned to the world of a teenage girl :D St...

No worries. Fingers crossed it's a good 'un. Our neighbour 2 dors down has a mk2 estate - he's had it as long as we've been here (13yrs) so they must be fairly decent buses. :)

Re: Auto estate, excellent economy £10k

Wednesbury car was not great :? Saw this this later tho and may be a goer. Any thoughts, hive mind? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202501047734704 The only thing I would say is it might be worth trying a mk3 before you commit - they moved the game on significantly and it's effectively an A...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Doing some jobs on the Clio. Seat lowered as spacers removed, the nuts you get at from underneath, they have a rubber cover (still rubbery) and the conical nuts were copper greased. The rear discs hold the wheel bearing and mount to a stub shaft. They both removed well, no grease on the nut as it’s...

Re: Auto estate, excellent economy £10k

There's an L&K (top spec) here listed for just above budget, but might be biddable for £10k https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202412107173730 Otherwise there's loads on AT under £10k. The earlier mk3 models came with the 6spd DSG (wet clutch) where the later ones came with the 7spd (dry c...

Re: Auto estate, excellent economy £10k

Age requirement ? Completely predictably, personally I’d be looking for a 5-Series, but £10k only gets something ~10 years old and you’d have to forego a lot of the bells & whistles you get on newer cars. Failing that, the Superb seems to have it stitched up. I found a lovely one, but I think i...
