Much more gutteral and a deeper sound than I'd expected

The the pops and bangs on the overrun were really percussive, you could feel them in a way that was a ...

I'm hoping they release this set (or I'll see it it can otherwise be 'acquired')

They do have to rank as one of the best live bands (whether you like their music or not, you have to hand it to them)

Disclosure Day

Just back from watching this

Really enjoyed it

I'm a sucker for these aliens kind of films, but two and a half hours went by very quickly and I thought it was an entertaining film

Fuck me, ChatGPT can talk some bollocks, eh?

The very first line it was obviously not written by a human

I wonder how much they spent on fuel, servicing, and other consumables (tyres etc) to cover 175k Kms in a Chiron?

According to the WLTP figure I can find, it is 25.19L/100km, so ...

Re: Nurburgring gets a dose of 'Staph

Earlier on in the race the head of M-sport (I think) was being interviewed and quizzed on the exceptionally cool M3 Touring. He was asked that given the fan reaction could it come to other races in the endurance series like Bathurst. His reply was that the car was sold to a private investor before ...

Re: Why are road trips so alluring?

We're heading down to the French Alps this summer

Really looking forward to it

Because of a prior engagement, we're going to take the overnight ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe and then bang out the drive in one hit starting very early Sunday morning when we arrive in France

Re: The Movie Thread

@mik that looks great - we have a Picture House in Brighton, similar thing

There's something very nice about a sofa, glass of wine, and some quality popcorn or a slice of homemade cake while you're watching a good film

Hope you enjoy the film and overall experience 👍
