Re: Harry’s Garage

Someone on PH has posted an MOT check for the Countach showing it expired in May 😂 Just watched the second vid of his trip in the Countach. When he's reversing the Countach in Andermatt, it doesn't look like any reversing lights come on  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zQlAiY-ofo The bit at 1...

Re: Kids of today….

Oddly the Phillipino speaks excellent English but the 2 Norwegians not much at all. Which certainly isn’t common as most people I work with speak the queens English more accurately than I do. Dave! English is an equal first language in the Philippines. AFAIK all the kids grow up learning to speak E...

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition

For me, an S1 Elise Sport 135 and 111S probably appeal the most. Otherwise, I rather liked the S3 Exige Maurice owns/owned. Looks like a car magazine published a buyers guide back in Jan for the S1 Elise. Not sure if it will tell you anything new, but the bloke who wrote it may have driven a few ove...

Comments show how the general feeling actually is not like less than 10 lefties on a dying car forum
Basically overly hostile comments, typical to Twitter with barely any valid constructive criticism in sight 😂

Re: Harry’s Garage

Enjoyed Harry's look at the Bugatti and the good Autobahn run in the Countach. His mention of "AI" looking at those lovely suspension parts did irritate me though, structural optimiser programs have produced shapes like those for a long time. They're just expensive to make fully optimised...

Re: Your fleet running reports

That looks magnificent, Andy. The magenta piping really sets it off 8-) I wanted magenta mats for my 968, but last time I checked they were a long time NLA. The interior on the 968 is a bit boring, as it's pretty much all black (can I say that?) I really need to reupholster the Recaros with some que...

I like it Jobbo 8-)

Quite a unique colour, compared to a fairly generic dark grey 👍

Looks amazing Duncs. Yellow cars aren't normally my thing, but that looks like a real special finish - looks quite pearlescent from your pics, is it like that in real life?

Look forward to seeing it on the road soon!

My Honda Motorcycle engines do this, it is quite pleasing. Probably because each cylinder is just under 250cc

Re: State of the Roads

There's been a road closure in a village close to me, due to one of the lanes having part of it subside with all the rain we had last year...annoying as it's part of the back road route I use to get to Ipswich, when i'm unfortunate enough to have to go there. It's been closed since November last yea...

Re: Driving in France - what do I need to know?

Most important of all though, the car has now had a good wash, and a coating of Collinite 845 wax That's worth at least an extra 10kph down the Mulsanne Straight 8-) Nothing much to add to what has already been said, except enjoy your trip!...France is a magnificent country for a road trip. When I ...

Re: No F1 thread?

Yeah, shit call by McLaren on that one. They should have just asked Piastri when he was leading, if he wanted to stop before Norris.

Just pitting Norris then telling Piastri afterwards was kind of shit, then they even left Piastri out another lap to give Norris more of a gap.
