Re: Ferry or Tunnel to France?
I'm a cheapskate and never found decent deals for the tunnel.
Always used the ferry, which if you book up just after Christmas can be quite cheap.

Re: Silverstone Auction results
Not surprisingly I quite like the 12C. Price seemed OK but not amazing. https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/assets/lot_images/xlarge/rec11296-2_3.jpg I did wonder when I saw that at 63K if that was good value or not? I lost track about the different models of McLarens some time ago! A McLaren MP4-1...

Horner spouting bollocks that Perez is in the title fight, when they asked him to move over for Verstappen in Spain a few weeks ago!
By my shonky maths, Perez would currently be equal on points with Leclerc and only 3 points behind Verstappen of he was allowed to win in Spain...

Re: Tommy Sauce
You can’t put sauce on bacon! Name the place for our fight to the death! Mik is 100% correct. No Sauce on bacon (or indeed Sausages) However, ground pepper on a Bacon Sandwich is just weird. A tiny bit of mustard works well in a bacon sandwich. Tomato ketchup works well with an omelette too.

Wonder if the GT department get away with it as we're reaching the final throes of the internal com...

...a crew member with a commercial pilots licence couldn’t work out how to use the radios in time, let alone get enough guidance to land the aircraft. After watching the vid Jimmy linked to, I concluded to myself that I probably wouldn't even be able to figure out how to get the radio to work (and ...

Re: Could you do it? (Not FTAO IanF)
Planes can autopilot land now, right? Surely it's just the press of a button then? If it's windy like a few weeks ago, so an autopilot landing isn't possible, then hopefully there's a doctor onboard who can revive one of the pilots... I'd actually like to hear what IanF thinks of this pleb off...
