Re: Matt Le Blanc to leave TG.
Robert Llewellyn would be good, but I don't think he'd be comfortable driving an internal combustion engine car!

Re: Matt Le Blanc to leave TG.
While Henry and Harry would be bloody brilliant, they're not really high profile enough outside of the automotive world. I suspect the BBC will want someone who is already famous, as well as a car enthusiast. Unfortunately that means that we may well end up with someone from Rich's list. Though they...

My predictions for the list of terrible choices that will no doubt be put forward: JK Jenson Steve Jones Guy Martin That annoying chef Vernon Kaye And Jodie Kidd. Lord preserve us... ITV have changed the production company for the IOM TT coverage. Craig Doyle (who did a pretty good job as the main ...

Re: Matt Le Blanc to leave TG.
He was just right for the job imo - the perfect balance of likeable-ness, funny and engaging to watch. Now we’ll end up with some other crap presenter options just because everyone thinks “they like cars”. My predictions for the list of terrible choices that will no doubt be put forward: JK Jenson ...

Re: GAZ Shocks (ND)
I remember years ago a few people on the 968uk forum had Gaz dampers/springs fitted to their 968 and had some quality problems with them. Gaz weren't exactly helpful in sorting either.
Quite a few years ago now, so they might be better now.
Hope that helps.

Re: SecretSupercarOwner (not dead)
12C is also the best looking McLaren IMO with the most cohesive design. After the 12C they bastardised the design to make it fit the corporate logo and P1 front and after that they sent every subsequent car to the ugly tree to have every stick thrown at it by the wind tunnel. Err 675LT is stunning....

Re: What haven't you done
Talking of flying, I've never 'done' business class or first class. Doesn't bother me that much though. I willingly spend the extra for a Concorde flight, but not business class or first class.
Don't think I've ever stayed in a five star hotel either.

Re: What haven't you done
Uncle went in Concorde a couple of times. I'm guessing he's not that interested in aviation as he said it was uncomfortable and shit. And he was sat next to Phil Collins. The cabin area is relatively small, and they were apparently were very noisy when in-flight. Amazing feat of engineering though ...

Re: Harry M’s Arctic Roll[s]
There used to be a Newcastle - Stavanger ferry. Think they stopped doing that service about five years ago. There was also a Harwich - Esbjerg ferry, which I think stopped running around the same time. Guess it's a consequence of cheap flights. I know Stena line were not making much money out of the...

Inspiring vids.
Has made me have silly thoughts of driving up there in my slightly decrepit Golf, when I've owned it 20 years, to see the Northern lights and visit Lofoten again.

How much does it cost to respray a Ferrari!?!
Seems bonkers to me, but it's your money and your choice.

Re: Automotive First - Driven - EV
The price of the Tesla 3 seems to have jumped, the media are speculating £60k ish now. I thought they were a 3 series rival and £35-40k ? The base price was $35k, but if you order one with no options, you'll wait forever for yours to be delivered. The first ones to be delivered to the UK will proba...

Zoe looks much better in real life than it does in pics. Not a great looking car, but not ugly enough to get ranty about
Think the new Leaf will look better than the Zoe, but I haven't seen one of them on the road yet.

Ridden in to work every day this week so far, can't do tomorrow as I'm having to use the train.
Was raining on my way home today - I didn't realise a rain drop directly to the eye at 40-45mph would hurt a little
