I'm going to assume the shart is built on a very windy brown field site.
My mate lives in The Shart and had to get a new window fitted. He got a quote from a glazier, but they didn’t follow through.

Re: Randomness

Disgraceful.

I had a Club biscuit as a kid that was just pure chocolate - no biscuit. I failed to complain.

Re: Jaguar?

And also who TF wrote this crap? "The arches, meanwhile, are dramatically swollen to accommodate large-diameter, wide-set allow wheels - and the new Jaguar emblem features just aft of the front wheel on a gold panel, which houses a rear-view camera on each side" Allow wheels? And a feature...

Re: Decent car YouTubes

I just looked at some of the video comments. The majority appear appear to be bemoaning the fact that the cars aren't driven, and that the collection seems to have been driven by driven by numbers/algorithms rather than passion :?: I liked "Because they are not used it's like looking at a colle...

Re: Bernie selling 69 F1 cars

Bernie probably has them protected in an elaborate cave network loaded with traps. They're all in a hangar at Bicester, I was speaking to someone recently that was granted access which apparently is harder than getting in to Buckingham Palace for a private audience with the king. Was the person you...

Re: For the FAO of stereoists

Silly question though, even on the old amp did you not stream to it via the Spotify connect I used to connect to my 1991 NAD amp via an Airstream. My new Cambridge Audio amp has Bluetooth built in - connect to it and play - it’s not visible from the Spotify app :?: WiiM sounds good though and makes...

Re: Decent car YouTubes

On the collection, I'm sort of torn. On the one hand they've preserved some real rare cars, like the MG SV and the AMG Black. On the other they said that there were a few more of the RS Focus off site, and I'm wondering 'why'? That just gets to hoarding rather than collecting and preserving doesn't...

Re: Decent car YouTubes

Did they commit to which they liked best? I got the impression it was Porsche over McLaren. Doesn’t the McLaren have about 50% more power than the Porsche? But the 750S is a road-oriented model. Yeah. It’s a comparison of 2024 ECOTY and ETCOTY, plus the Radical, so very much intentionally an odd bu...

Re: For the FAO of stereoists

Good stuff Dave. 8-) I just received and set up my new Wiim Pro. Fancied one for a couple of months, but as I was in no desperate rush I waited for Black Friday. Reduced from £149 to £115. I didn't need the functionality of the Wiim Ultra, but I wanted RCA output rather than optical, so that meant t...
