Re: Harry’s Garage

Anyone watch the Utopia video last night? I really like it. A big improvement on the Huayra and probably as good as it gets in a Hypercar with a turbo'd engine. I like the exterior, and it sounds great. Manuel a big plus. Manuel 7-speed with dog-leg 1st is a big big plus. 8-) Interior is way too ch...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I've never been a great fan of the Dakar (or the Sterrato) as I thought the venn diagram of people genuinely interested in 911 packaging and performance that also needed some off-road capability had to be minute . And didn't include me. However - we have one on here. And since I'm always delig...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I turned it off and back on, and it was fine all the way home. Good. 8-) If the battery goes low voltage, you'll get this & suspension error, & gearbox errors etc all at once. (I'm sure there is a diagnostic menu you can access with a few button presses to see things like voltage - I'd need...

I think that one above - for me - would qualify as "reckless speed" from the cyclist.

I’ve not heard a VR6 for a while. Had forgotten how much I love the sound.
Sounds lovely.

Grandad fully triggered my steering OCD though. Now my teeth are itchy. :(

Re: Today’s want

That.

Also - whilst practical sports cars are always better - is it OK?

I remember rear seats could go in a 997.1 GT3 but not a 997.2 GT3 - thinner floor sections or something from memory. :?:

Shortbread poll

Mrs mik returned home from work this evening avec a tin of M&S shortbread. A gift what she had been gifted. Ooh. Not the same as, but also not dissimilar to this. https://mcgrocer.com/cdn/shop/products/512359011_2_640x640_ff6af55e-9e97-4d70-b581-046cd7a477b6.jpg Haven’t had decent shortb...

His first (dark blue) one was an early 350, and his current (black) is a 430Cup.

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition

I hate to dump on the Lotus love in but I struggle to see the value in a near 20 year old car with a four cylinder motor and kit car interior with wires hanging out and an incorrect odometer at £25k. Dump away. I don't care if you or Rich buy it. :) Personally I'd fancy an early V6 Exige too. With ...

edit: also - it's the 111R (with an extra 30-odd bhp over std) that JayEmm voted against in video Scott linked on page1.
