Re: Decent car YouTubes
Nice evo vid "in partnership with Alpine Cars UK". Sounds awful to my ears, but it looks superb on the move. 8-) A clear demonstration on why a great road car isn't a great track car and vice versa. They are pushing it hard at several points in the vid. Check the way it moves around at 2mi...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Looking very much at home there 8-) And yeah the lower hatch on the D3/4 is awesome. Great for accessing roof box also. D5 version is rubbish by comparison. I remember one time we were up at Aviemore and took the kids on the organised trip to feed the deer. Wild but friendly and used to being hand-f...

Re: For the FAO of stereoists
KiwiDave One for your list of speaker "testers". For clarity & details rather than whomp.... Whisper Of A Thrill - Thomas Newman - from the Meet Joe Black soundtrack. Some really delicate & quiet sections with some massively rich string parts that stretch the frequency range envel...

I used them yonks back for the 944S2.
Don’t use NCB and do agreed-value policies which avoids any negotiation if the worst happens. Only real downside for me was mileage restriction.

Re: Bye bye Starmer
@Mik: Any other business is part of the owner’s estate for IHT. Thanks. So it sounds like a loophole has been closed, and farms have been (broadly) aligned with other businesses? Harry makes some good points, but it sounds like they are now being forced to eat from the same shit sandwich that prett...

Re: Bye bye Starmer
As noted - I wasn't aware of the previous Farming IHT situation until it changed. What's the tax implication if you pass another business down to your kids? Random example : a Porsche Servicing/Repair specialist. If the owner has a daughter that may or may not be a current employee, and is intereste...

Seeing the orange missile reminded me of your Scotland trip too - mainly ‘cos it was the only time I saw it. Special thing though.

Re: For the FAO of stereoists
BTW - if any of you Englanders are near Biggleswade - this might be of interest on Sat 30-Nov. Need to pre-book your place. I imagine the sound quality will be "quite impressive". I find the Wilson Audio speakers pretty ugly and imposing (not easy to tell from the pic, but these ones stand...

There is a substance to astrology : it's brown and sticky and is ejected from the bottoms of male bovine ungulates.

Re: Your fleet running reports
This house has a lift installed on the driveway. I didn’t know they were weatherproof. It’s always got a knackered Range Rover or Disco on it  https://maps.app.goo.gl/ogTSiWdsBCqfoR2p8?g_st=ic Wow   I didn't know they were weatherproof either, but it's been there 3+ yrs so..... :?

RS is a model variant released a few years back. There are others in the range. All moved on from the previous “GTR” versions.
