I’m going to suggest that maybe it isn’t the final stage then?

Re: Harry’s Garage
And @JonathanE sold his long ago, so we can't even pressure him to be (credibly) upset/confused/suspicious on our behalf.

Re: Harry’s Garage
I guess one of the things which might be a concern on an older car is the extra electrical load as epas can take a decent slug of power. Could be that. I suspect that also - when it isn't providing assistance it isn't fully detached, so you possibly then have some extra unwanted inertia or friction...

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition
Without trying to speak for Dan, I understand it is from £15.5k+vat. Which presumably gets you a rebuilt standard spec engine. I suspect most (all?) customers seek some upgrades for moh powah, which will require moh dollars.

Re: McLaren W1
I was checking something P1 related and was reminded that a small minority/some/the majority/ almost all potential W1 owners would only ever explore this aspect of its ability  Posting it as: 1. 918 drivers hand position triggered my steering OCD 2. He redeemed himself with his VICE LIKE grip o...

Re: Your fleet running reports
If I ever got another Disco4, I'd find it hard to resist fitting a set of the 20" Landmark wheels. They suit it so well. Although they are diamond cut so won't be nearly as robust. And all the cars (Discos, RRS etc) on the Land Rover Experience day I went on wore 19"s with chunky tyres. Le...

This must be quite a joy for the ears as they pass, but…there is exciting motor racing. And there is this.

Re: McLaren W1
I'd say it's prettier than a Senna, but it's not as good looking as a P1. I do think that extending rear wing in lieu of a long-tail is a pretty cool idea, but you know 99% of the times it will be deployed will be for show as opposed to go. The hypercar market just feels like a game of top trumps - ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
what’s the yellow gt3 comment about? inside joke? No, apparently it is the only RHD speed-yellow 996.1 GT3 in existence. I’m repeating what I was told though - I haven’t actually checked the accuracy of this statement. I would now to like challenge this fact….. :geek:  https://www.instagram.co...
