Re: For the FAO of stereoists

I’m waiting to see a decent discount on a Marantz Stereo 70s. I see Richer Sounds have them for £699 if you are a VIP member - this is free to join and you get 10% off your first order over £100 - with the following caveat "*In some instances, this voucher is not valid in conjunction with othe...

Re: Decent car YouTubes

Every day’s a school day.

I didn’t realise that most of the V8 Supercar drivers use the clutch for downshifts, as a full flappy paddle shift can be too aggressive and you don’t want them rears locking.

No issue for upshifts.

One from 1987 - different car (Fiesta?) or just removed the aftermarket aero device thingy doo-dahs? Clearly not a fan of the (SImon Bates?) Re: Decent car YouTubes

Pretty much nothing happens in this vid - it's just a "dashcam" from 1985. 8-) Probably more interesting if you know Castleford, but it brought back real "being driven round by yer dad" memories. The creator clearly enjoyed doing this as they have uploaded several similar v...

"Have the windscreen, wiring etc. 90% there ready to be bolted together"

At first I read this as "90% ready" and assumed the zero exists only as a typo. :?

I now realise that he only has 90% of the parts that would needed to complete it.....

Do not want. :geek:

Pretty good explanation/anaylsis here. Could create an interesting 9-cylinder engine with this concept....... :geek:

Jump to 1min50s if you want to skip straight to the 6-stroke specifics.

My Grandpa had a brown Austin Princess with that colour interior. I think the ribs used to go the opposite way on the side panels.
