Re: TWR (Lazarus version)
(and ironically the pumped arches are much more reminiscent of Lister than TWR - image shows LeMans from 1986).

Re: Your fleet running reports
Took mrs mik’s E-Tron for a “larger car task” at the weekend. 25 miles from home on an A-Road the car suddenly sang out some loud warning chimes whilst flashing up “Electrical System Fault – Safely stop vehicle!” followed immediately by a 4WD system fault message, and then a warning related to the ...

Re: Car Hire Lottery
Merc EQA supplied by Audi to cover us until they have fixed Mrs mik’s etron. That’ll do nicely. Have only taken it up the road and back, but initial thoughts (which will make me look like an ungrateful moany git) : whilst the interior is far from unpleasant, the big vents in the centre are a bit ch...

I thought it was just me. It works on my phone. It is barried on my work flaptop (which does tend to block some images).

Re: Harry’s Garage
I just rewatched a segment and heard Harry’s comment about Comdort vs Sport setting on the brake pedal. Why indeed? :? Obviously it’s going to be a lot quicker than a std car at higher speeds, but I wonder if it is actually significantly faster at legal velocities - with the torque limiting in 1st &...

Re: Parking
When in Florida last year I came across a carpark where reverse parking was banned and punishable by a fine. Oddly it's not the only place in the US where this is the case. I've seen this where the spaces are up against a wall which could be stained by an exhaust if you were an idiot and sat there ...

Re: Today’s want
I wasn’t clear - neither
Lack of traction was frustrating, but it was the crap gear lever position that made it a firm non for me. (Or more specifically the arm rest that prevented you comfortably accessing the gear lever).

jamcg Met a couple of dogs from Glasgow Greyhound Trust at a party over the weekend as one of the folks that runs that org was also there. They had a girl (that they have adopted into their home) with only half her jaw remaining on one side (leaving her with a squinty face) who was very sweet and -...

Re: Today’s want
You know when you start thinking about a car and then it seems like you see 3 or 4 of them on every journey. This one is a good spec and it has a 10 year warranty. https://used.toyota.co.uk/approved-used/toyota-supra-coupe-3-0t-gr-special-edition-euro-6-s-s-3dr-ybcdb46000w061283 That does look good...
