Race The Waves in Bridlington this weekend, never been before but appears to be random old stuff and hot rods drag racing down the beach.
I'd say I'll update with pictures but there's no chance I can ever do that!

Re: Coffee beans
We have a local roaster in Baildon called Casa Espresso and their Volcano beans are absolutely amazing, in fact all their coffee is.

Re: Woman
As proof I (we) really don’t understand women, this one has been messaging me more in the last few days than she did whilst dating, making it sound like this was a push for more commitment (??) and so we are meeting up for a chat later.. maybe she reads this forum!? 🤣 Tl;dr - woman be crazy! Time t...

Re: New TV Tiime
I think my current downstairs is the C version but a 55, I'm interested to see what the difference is between that and this g panel, apparently it has a special coating on the screen as well but I'll have a look once it's out the box, if the stand turns up today !
Re: Woman

Re: New TV Tiime
Well it's turned up, it seemed too good to be true but
Just waiting for the stand to come now as the G3 is made for wall mounting, but the G panel is better than the C so it was worth getting this and buying a stand, seems odd but that's LG.

Re: New TV Tiime
I've got one in the living room already, I was hoping they'd give me a voucher as I don't really need a new TV, but this is a G3 and I think mine is a G2 so it's a bit of an upgrade I suppose. I have an amp that all the stuff goes through so we don't use the TV speakers much anyway, I've ordered a s...

Re: New TV Tiime
Our old Philips Ambilight TV upstairs has broken again, so they came and picked it up yesterday to try repair it, again (4th time). I got a text to say they can't repair it and to go on and choose a new TV, the "like for like" ones were all crap, but for 10 English pounds, I upgraded to th...
Re: BBQs
I've just bought a cheap 4 burner with a side burner from Sainsbury's, said missing 2 wheels on the box and bolts and was 120 quid down from 200. Thought I'll just pinch them off the old bbq. Opened it when I got home, the wheels and the bolts were in a black box inside the grill which was still se...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Sadly to even it out, my wife has been using the XF for her commute whilst I've been in LA and it's done 80 liters of diesel in three weeks. Big diesels are great for distance, but not for short journeys, also had a yellow DPF Full, drive car message, she did a 20 mile up and down the a road journey...

Re: Motorway Mile Munchers
8-) They're great cars, I'm sad that Jaguar shelved the replacement as it looked great, this will be the last proper Jaguar they ever made really, the new XF and XE were nowhere near sadly. Keep an eye on oil dilution (you can force an oil level reading by having the ignition on and opening the bonn...

Re: Your fleet running reports
is it a PHEV? Yep 2.5 PHEV. so it's not really 80mpg, you're putting in electricity too. My M2 does around 5000 miles per gallon (of oil - I'm ignoring the petrol for my calculation). I'm not paying for the electricity, and you don't measure consumption of electric in gallons, so I'm 100% sure it's...

Re: Your fleet running reports
It's a Ford though! I had the same thought when I got the focus. It doesn’t make any untoward noises at all and feels better put together than the fabia courtesy car I had recently. Pleasantly surprised, I expected at least one squeak or rattle from a 4 year old car Yeah i'd certainly get another F...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Just passed 10k in the Kuga, averaged 81.7 MPG overall since I've had it, no creaks, rattles or issues, it's been a superb car, I'd certainly recommend one as a family car. Massive boot, loads of space in the car, great seats, stereo, and it even manages to be quite fun to drive. If I ordered again...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Haha, it's very good on fuel, my wife uses it more than me and her commute is 8 miles each way on very hilly roads and she can get 2 days on just electric without needing to charge it, if I don't use it for work it would never use any fuel!

Re: Motorway Mile Munchers
My 3.0 has been absolutely fine, as long as it's being used for long runs there should be no issues with it, just take it easy and let it get up to temp before using a decent amount of throttle, high loads when cold has killed a few.
Colour looks nicer than I thought it would.
