Re: Steam Frame
My PSVR2 has certainly improved GT7 when sat in the race seat with the wheel etc, but I don't think I could bring myself to spend that money on one.

Re: For the FTAO of Sim racing folk
I've got a PSVR2 arriving today to see what all the fuss about using it for GT7 is.
I've got a folding race chair set up we've had for a few years and a T248 wheel for the PS5 so it should be half decent at least.
Apparently I can get an adapter to use the VR on PC so I'll get one of those if I ...

Re: The birds and the bees
It's too late to keep bees now but if you're interested you should sign up with your local beekeepers association and then enrol for a course next year or find a mentor to teach you. It's quite complicated at first.
I'll have a look, there's a few local places I'm aware of, sounds like a fun ...

Honey is amazing stuff, id love to have a beehive, might look into it next year as I'm guessing it's a bit late now to start?

Re: Your fleet running reports
I've had this Tucson for about 2 and a bit months now I think, it does some things better than the Kuga, and some things worse.
Seats are about on a par, maybe a bit wider, equally comfortable either way. The stereo is dogshit compares to the B&O in the Kuga, lacks volume and Bass. The HVAC ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
A big bit of roof fell out from the highest point of the house today, bounced off the lower roof and hit the Golf, right on the roof.
I really wish it had hit the windscreen.
Broken paint, three dents.
Dent removal guys won't touch broken paint normally, but I've got someone who will try it as ...

Re: 4 Paw Dog Drive Fleet running report
Our German Shepherd is really enjoying swimming at the moment. Bought her a cheap water retrieval toy. Shmashin.
Tonight some idiot threw it too far - into the undergrowth on the other bank of the waterway. Dog couldn’t figure out where it had gone. Dog perplexed. Value of toy not really a ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Kuga is leaving me in the next couple of weeks to be replaced by a 330e Touring.
Been a lovely car, I'd spend my own money on a 3 year old one as a family car I needed one, it's been 100% reliable, needed 2 tyres in 36000 miles and that's it other than servicing.
Managed Heathrow to Leeds on ...

Re: Weekend toy £25k
I don't think I could ever get an F Type over an XK.
Same platform, just without rear seats, which although aren't great seats, do fit a load of stuff should you go away and take a decent amount of luggage/dogs etcs.
You'd also get a proper XKR 5.0 SC cheaper than any F Type R, and you'd notice no ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Kuga is three in August and work have said I can keep it until January 2028 and then we're getting a new EV company car scheme, or take 600 quid a month as car allowance.
I can see most of that been sucked up by tax, so I'm not sure its worth it compared to how easy the all in and paid for car is ...

Re: EV Thread
Both Kuga and Golf are only charged using a 3 pin plug at both old, and now new house and we've never had any problems. (Had the Kuga three years now).
I will probably install a proper charger soon though as new car in September will possibly be a full EV,.
No idea what car I want though, possibly ...

Re: FTAO EV owners - what brake "maintenance" do you perform?
I do at least one stop hard enough to activate the ABS in both the Kuga and the Golf once a month to clean the disks up.
The Golf especially seems to use the friction brakes very sparingly, the rear pads are still like new after 38000 miles.
Kuga regen isn't the strongest so it seems to use the ...
