Kuga is three in August and work have said I can keep it until January 2028 and then we're getting a new EV company car scheme, or take 600 quid a month as car allowance.
I can see most of that been sucked up by tax, so I'm not sure its worth it compared to how easy the all in and paid for car is ...

Re: EV Thread
Both Kuga and Golf are only charged using a 3 pin plug at both old, and now new house and we've never had any problems. (Had the Kuga three years now).
I will probably install a proper charger soon though as new car in September will possibly be a full EV,.
No idea what car I want though, possibly ...

Re: FTAO EV owners - what brake "maintenance" do you perform?
I do at least one stop hard enough to activate the ABS in both the Kuga and the Golf once a month to clean the disks up.
The Golf especially seems to use the friction brakes very sparingly, the rear pads are still like new after 38000 miles.
Kuga regen isn't the strongest so it seems to use the ...

Aw she looks beautiful Mik.
Our fox red Lab is three now, she still looks like she's a year old, and behaves like it too.
It seems the mental is in ginger dogs
The first 9 months we had her she would try and chew any wiring she could find, this then swapped to getting the insoles out of ...

Golf in for it's second service last Tuesday, no issues other than needing a DSG oil change which was over and above it's service plan, only £200 so not messing about doing it at home for that.
Kuga in for it's second and final service on 16th, it's been a great car, but with unbelievably harsh ...

Our cleaner is only once a week, with a very malty Labrador, the robot picks up the slack when I'm away with work!
No prep needed though? Just leave all doors open downstairs, it does slowly sex the bar stool bases, but the little spinny brush cleans them all and it's not damaged them, so it ...

You can rename it on Alexa as well, telling Sheila to start cleaning certainly brightens the morning
@Jobbo Wasn't aware of the types of perimeter differences etcs, I'd want it wmto work like the vacuum I'd suppose, using LiDAR and sensors.

Our rear lawn is only about 12m x 4m so one of the little robots should easily sort this I'd imagine?
It will be able to get round the side of the house to a dock or whatever it will use so it's out of the way when it's not in use.

Motorsport was that rubbish I actually bought a PS5 and GT7.
I'll probably wait until this comes to PS5 as I prefer my Thrust master wheel on the PS to the Logitech one on the Xbox.

I think the actual games are on bloody TNT or whatever it's called instead of Sky Sports as well which isn't ideal (for me anyway!).
Work are wanting me to get to Sydney pretty soon, it's no coincidence I'm trying to plan it for the first week of January

Yeah I'd imagine the Eco ones might make a difference, but having said that, my Kuga PHEV came on Conti Eco Contact and is now on Premium Contacts and that's made no difference either, other than it actually has some wet grip now

Re: Your fleet running reports
My wife asked about winter tyres for the R5. I suspect the eco tyres wouldn’t be too great in snow and ice. But the car is too new for used alloys to be available on eBay yet.
Fortunately I was first to reply to a chap on a Facebook group who has replaced his wheels with aftermarket ones. So ...
