Re: 4 Paw Dog Drive Fleet running report
It’s been a month since Toby was attacked, he’s still more reactive than he used to be but he’s still better than he was when we first got him. We’ve got him a jacket to say “reactive not aggressive” which at least lets people understand his behaviour. Hopefully won’t need it long term but we’ll see...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Cayenne air suspension compressor seems to have died. Cheapie Chinese replacement is very affordable at just over £100 so I’ll get one ordered. I used similar quality cheapie air springs on the Touareg and they were totally fine so hopefully this will be too. Thing with some cheap Chinese parts is ...

Re: Car for a new driver
Is there any difference at all between Aygo, C1 and 107? All the same car built in the same factory. Something like a Fiat Panda must be worth considering. Aygo will be different to insure as it has bespoke interior and exterior compared to the Peugeot and Citroen which are pretty much identical. W...

I kept expecting him to fold it back manually like a mk1 mx5 but nope, that’s too easy

Can't do that with a cost cap. Unless he suddenly has a desire to start a catering company of course

Especially as the reason given is because of all the Horner shite. Should have got rid when they had the chanceDeskJockey wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 7:59 pm Interesting. That'll be a blow to their future strategy.

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
All it would have taken in that second video was the cyclist to do what you’re supposed to do and check behind before moving out. He’d have seen the landy and probably thought “fuck that” and hung back before moving right. Instead he did the wanky cyclist with a camera thing of “I have right of way ...

Re: Test drive report
Oof, 140 mile range at 98% charge? That's city car range for bopping around town, not exactly what you want on a big, spacious five seater. Edit - just realised I must have read the numbers wrong in the ad, and that 140 miles is the trip, and ~200 miles is the range, which is a bit better, but stil...

Re: FTAO forum members looking to spend around £820k on a track toy
I could see these ending up with a ban on track days, I can imagine incidents where someone will be following one, loose focus on everything but the car in front and completely miss their braking point off a high speed straight- because that car doesn’t actually have a braking point  I also won...

Re: The House Projects Thread
Floors are being sanded today and we're trapped upstairs by sheets of plastic - it looks like house in ET when the government swoops down. Of course poor planning and preparation is to blame. Child #2 is wondering if she could get food delivered and they'd be happy to try throwing it up through an ...

I bought a macalister b&q special. It’s a bit heavy but the strap helps and it works. If it’s not going to be used often buy cheap and treat as disposable

Re: Your fleet running reports
I had the same thought when I got the focus. It doesn’t make any untoward noises at all and feels better put together than the fabia courtesy car I had recently. Pleasantly surprised, I expected at least one squeak or rattle from a 4 year old car

Re: Tesla Cyberpuke
IMG_1459.png Through navigator error I was once directed down here in the scouts transit minibus. (They had their google maps set to walk  )It’s basically a green lane beyond where street view can see, and I’d been informed that access to the site where we stayed had a strange entrance road s...
