Re: Your fleet running reports
Got a quick explore tonight over an old B road which snakes up from the coast inland a bit then joins up with the top of the valley which leads down into the village. Was surprised by how well it does with big pot holes, it rides pretty well on those tyres and the extra ground clearance definitely ...

Re: Randomness
I was of the opinion up to 6 years ago that you can’t buy a bad new car. Any car will be comfortable enough, take you from A to B. From a NCG perspective, they’re all acceptable. After being in various new cars I now take that back. The annoying and often wrong safety aids, the crap interiors which...

Re: Client response times
From my understanding the HMRC suggestion is to bill for work undertaken in the month it was carried out, so monthly makes a lot of sense. Businesses generally seem to be good at paying, on the other hand, the biggest assholes for paying have been NHS, City University and WWF. All these organisatio...

Re: Jobbo interior
You notice that a lot if you’re a car guy and get into towing. Also those Transit tippers are illegal half the time. They can’t tow more than 2.8 tonnes but usually have a 2.8 tonne digger on a half tonne trailer but I think the authorities don’t know how to read the plant models which clearly have...

Re: Lockdown cookery thread.
Been very lazy of late with food, everything’s been freezer food with oven chips or takeaways, probably linked to my mental health thread post, because I used to cook many meals from scratch Tonight’s tea was pigs in blankets toad in the hole. Can confirm the bacon elevates this massively, the base ...

Like that. Always makes me laugh the demonstrations of what the aero can do, I’m sure it needs loads of downforce moving from garage to garage via auction houses whilst in a trailer gaining 4 miles per year

Re: The actually useful gadget fred
Repost from the fleet thread- this has been great in the van, wireless CarPlay and a reversing camera from TikTok. Sends audio by aux or built in fm transmitter. Cheaper than a new head unit and the dashboard doesn’t need butchering.

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/yykAAOSwB3Nlm8UQ/s-l1200.jpg Dog/cat grooming brush- you put water in it and it emits a plume of cool vapour (despite them calling it a steam brush) Goes through tobys fur lovely, the mist keeps it lubricated. You can apparently put oils in it too but I’ve never bothe...
