Re: Your fleet running reports
Audi A2s are actually interesting, at least. Fuck knows what anyone sees in a Passat or a T4 Transporter.

Re: Your fleet running reports
B5 Passat fans are weird. They're like VW T4 fans and Ford RS fans.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 9:00 pm Absolute best I could get from the W12 was just over 20mpg on a long run while concentrating. So this is 20 mpg while driving a Passat. And a person/people has done that for 185k miles. That doesn't even make sense.

Re: Your fleet running reports
That is American BHP per litre levels  I'd agree, but it's not even that torquey - 270 lb-ft. And it drinks like a fucking fish. https://www.fuelly.com/car/volkswagen/passat?engineconfig_id=&bodytype_id=&submodel_id=1235 (don't forget to change it to UK units - for the devoid of clicki...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I used to know a few around Scarborough, but around here, I've not really had the chance to find any.
I should probably do something about that now that I can afford the fuel and I'm not on call 24/7 any more (and so don't have to be near a computer all the time).

Re: Your fleet running reports
I've just checked, and indeed that apparently exists on this car in the manual (I was under the impression it was added during the cars lifecycle and didn't want to just try it for fairly obvious reasons) Bigger issue would be finding somewhere around where to properly try it. One day. Not today

Er, with two inches of usable wheel travel, that thing won't survive a speed hump in a car park.

Re: Tesla Cyberpuke
Musks mostly seems to be appealing to neo nazis lately, and why couldn't a neo-nazi be interested in an electric car?
The rest? Thick cunts with money to burn.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Having never owned an auto before, I tried 'two foot launching' the car this evening - not hard, barely 1500rpm, and only for a moment, with the brakes held down quite hard. It was enough to surprise me, it launches hard. Believe the ZF8s don't like being held on the brakes under a load greater than...

Given that now the paid influencers have stopped making videos, and actual reviewers are laughing till they fall over at the panel gaps, I imagine they are not having a good time.

Re: Ross Scott's stopkillinggames.com campaign
Update Petition got a response, and it was a mealy mouthed affair that basically said "go to the citizens advice bureau, scum" and that didn't actually get to the core of the issue; just waffle to make it look like it had been thought about. The Petitions Committee has caught wind of this,...

The gearstick is really lazy on the Morgan, looks awful and totally out of sync with the rest of the interior. Toyota didn't a much better job, as did Land Rover mentioned above. https://i.ibb.co/7Ysb115/toyota-2020-supra-interior-gear-shift-console-gallery-08-l.jpg I mean, that AC panel is basical...

At least one of the directors at my work is a CG, there was a Ferrari 812 Comp parked outside yesterday when I was leaving. Another one has a Maybach S600. Spotting the cars is cool but parking £600k car at work when the average salary is just bumping £30k seems gauche  Same at my old place. M...

I have no memory of interacting with him either.
But we regularly had TVs (writer) Richard Porter so that probably made up for it.

I mean, I'm pretty sure you'll fuck yourself with that, too. My wine is very, very regular. Friday night - down to Lidl, get food and a bottle of St Emilion Grand Cru https://www.lidl.co.uk/p/st-emilion-grand-cru-aop/p10000289 Usually have something meaty on a Friday night, and I don't just mean yer...
