Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

Yeah, a lot of Sunaks musings yesterday were about fixing the country. Mate, who's been running it for the last fifteen years? Anyway, here's something that's worth absorbing before overthinking small boats/asylum etc https://freemovement.org.uk/briefing-the-sorry-state-of-the-uk-asylum-system/ The ...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

I think the main thing is to elect a party that isn't, you know, using the deliberate harming of the poor and marginalised as a vote-winning tactic. Maybe a party that would be uncomfortable with the concept of lining their pockets as the country burns, and 'letting the bodies pile up in the street'...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

Starmers speech was an easy winner today - pretty hard not to agree with words like "chaos" and "self serving" in reference to the Tories. I found it laughable that Sunak was banging on about 'not knowing what you'll get' with Labour. Mate, if I'm up to my neck in a bucket of li...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

That speech sounded like someone trying to point out that the house burned down and collapsed, but look - look how easy it is to clean the roof gutters now that they're in the garden! While looking like a drowned (roland) rat. I screengrabbed this for my american disord pals, and it feels like it su...

Re: Seatbelts on planes

Yep, person dies from heart attack. But wat about the seatbeltz 🙄 You know that there are 104 injured, 58 of those are in hospital, and 20 of those in intensive care, right? Most of them with injuries resulting from being throw into - and in some cases literally inside of - the overhead lockers/sto...

I do like to squirt away from lights promptly where possible, and thanks to bags of torque below 3k rpm you can do that without being a twat about it :D

Re: Your fleet running reports

Next step, once the E46 is finally moved on, is to find local quiet roads to test things out on. Ones that aren't 50mph average speed camera areas like most of the stuff around here.

Even if that means going 40 miles east.

Re: Your fleet running reports

I have discovered that if you put the M135i in to 'TRACTION' mode (a single press of the TC button) it pops and crackles like an absolute motherfucker on the overrun - about as much, if not more than in sport+, but without the firm gearchanges, heavy steering etc. I am absolutely not being a child w...

Re: Your fleet running reports

No more Brembo for me. Dave! Weirdly, MOT tester this morning said near enough the same thing. He used to buy Brembo, trusted brand and all that, but lately he's seen the disks go to shit on the regular, to the extent that he explicitly warns people off them now. So I don't think it's just you....

Rivian came up somewhere else that I talk about cars, and I remembered this article and wanted to link it, but it seems to have disappeared from Karenable (understandable) but not made it to the SSOReport, @SSO ?
