Yeah that's what I thought, but nope, you can still get cabin filters that aren't activated charcoal, and even if it were, £50 for a fucking cabin filter even for New Money Raith is still a pisstake.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Yeah, it's 5.5hours all in, most of which is for the gearbox which with the ZF8s is a pain-in-the-arse job that involves getting the box up to temperature after refilling, doing the Magical ZF Dance of Acceptance etc to flush the fluid through all the valves, coolers, etc. The rest of it is pretty s...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Parts prices for modern BMWs, even from indies, are kinda hilarious. Bosch service parts (filters, fluids etc) and NAPA gearbox oil = £550 BMW service parts and gearbox oil = £1050, £450 of which is the gearbox oil, which costs nearly twice as much as ZFs own stuff. Labour is 5.5hrs at 70/hr Good of...

It's deeply suspicious if it doesn't have one, in my opinion
Haven't had that price list yet, but he did say they were pretty busy so I'm not in any rush.

I mean, $2700 wouldn't cover a fraction of his medical bill if it had bitten, so perhaps not the smartest move. Oh hey someone actually did it. https://gizmodo.com/cybertruck-video-breaks-finger-safe-stick-elon-musk-1851460112 “In my last video everybody kept saying that when the Tesla Cybertruck w...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I can smell it in the cabin, and I've basically asked them to 'have a look' when it comes in for service, to see if they can pin it down a bit better.
Activated charcoal cabin filters will help, but they won't fix the actual problem

Re: Your fleet running reports
Local indy is going to send me a list of prices for engine/gearbox service, OE vs premium OEM parts etc. I mentioned in my email that I've got a probable rocker cover leak and I'm used to that from having an E46 6 pot and he quizzed me on that and offered to buy it off me  fucking everyone want...

Ah, back when the co-op had the chromed seperators between the shop and the tills and as a youth, I could spin on them.

Far more interesting than some shitbox italian soft roader for people trying to impress their millionaire pals - I saw an S-suffix Cortina wagon in red last night, and it was fucking mint.

Re: Pakora in Inglandcestirshire?
I regularly get paneer pakora as a starter. Deep fried battered cheese is always a winner.
I never did much currying when I was down south, so it's entirely possible that the southern jessies are doing it wrong, as is so regularly the case.

I've just done something that's fucking weird to me.
I've contacted a local BMW indy to service the car.
This whole 'being paid enough to live relatively comfortably' thing is weird.

Yeah, a lot of replies from locals saying that the road was closed to motor vehicles four years ago, and everyone local knows it - it's specifically intended for walkers/cyclists. So you're like to see a wobbly kid on a bike who could veer all over the road, or a whole group of people round a blind ...
