Re: Pakora in Inglandcestirshire?
I regularly get paneer pakora as a starter. Deep fried battered cheese is always a winner.
I never did much currying when I was down south, so it's entirely possible that the southern jessies are doing it wrong, as is so regularly the case.

Re: Your fleet running reports
I've just done something that's fucking weird to me.
I've contacted a local BMW indy to service the car.
This whole 'being paid enough to live relatively comfortably' thing is weird.

I mean, did you also notice the one in the crash, er, crashed upon trying to brake and steer at the same time?
I don't consider that to be less bad

Re: Randomness
Yeah, a lot of replies from locals saying that the road was closed to motor vehicles four years ago, and everyone local knows it - it's specifically intended for walkers/cyclists. So you're like to see a wobbly kid on a bike who could veer all over the road, or a whole group of people round a blind ...

I mean, $2700 wouldn't cover a fraction of his medical bill if it had bitten, so perhaps not the smartest move.

Re: Tony Martin Pt2
Given the lack of firearms charges noted against them, I seriously doubt it - firearms offences are an easy win for the CPS given how restrictive ownership/use is here.

Re: Mesh wifi
Honestly, if you have the opportunity to do some DIY in it before 'proper' moving in, just do some cable runs. Not for individual computers etc, but for mesh units. You can then use them with any mesh setup - the backhaul will be over CAT5 so it'll be fast as fuck for the wifi endpoints, and they'll...

Re: Mesh wifi
I've got a Minisform EM680 which is an 80x80x40mm PC, and it's got slightly shonky wifi because, you know, antenna seperation etc. It was previously barely getting 250-300mb wifi and would regularly drop off the 5ghz channels on AC, and fall back to 2.4ghz, which was terrible. Since setting this up...

None of the reviews/previews/etc I saw suggested it was perfect, but the general feel I got was that it was a vast improvement over the zero feedback you get from any other EV in terms of inherently judging speed.

I hate that crap, but based on that vid and the way the camera moves as it pretend-shifts from pretend-first into pretend-second, it looks like Hoonday have gone one step further and added a pause in the power delivery???? In which case, my Tragicometer may well explode. :( Apparently it's actually...
