Oh, they're not environmentalist hippies, they're anti-progress NIMBYs more than likely - the sort who protest fibre broadband being run on new poles, or 5g masts being installed.

I mean, based on some of the shit they post (wow, my cybertruck is shit and suffered brake and steering failure but i still love it! etc) it's actually quite believable that they might have thought they were making a statement.

Re: Jack envy
My dad was an engineer for knocking on 50 years. He used all sorts of high end pro stuff for work that I can't remember the name of. He had Facom gear in the car and on the boat. So "Good enough for a journeyman pro to use at home" seems like a reasonable recommendation for their mainline ...

Think it'll be a quick lift pedal - press it down and it lifts the arm faster, but with almost no pressure behind it, so it'll stop when it hits the bodywork.

Yeah, it's 'in the phone book' sort of data, but as you note, it's something that reasonably should have happened, period.

Got your eyes set on anything in particular, or are you waiting for the gods of eBay and Half Decent Wine to get together and make you regret your life choices? This is also quite possible 😂 A newer Cayenne or a Merc GL are on the reserve list. There’s a box of Co-op Pinot Grigio in the fridge. Che...

Mix it in with details from other large breaches, you could potentially have the grounds of a highly effective spear phishing campaign.

Dell users - take note
Got a Dell? Well, Dell fucked up. https://www.theregister.com/2024/05/09/dell_data_stolen/ 49 million customers name, address and system specs/serial numbers were stolen, which doesn't sound too bad - no payment data etc - till you think that if someone sent a letter to your gran saying that there's...

We're also entirely remote workers, and we were doing four meetings a year in a hotel but the logistics got ungainly when we got past 20 people, including a few who need to fly in (NI, Azores (!)). Now we do two meetings a year and we're doing smaller, team or intra team meetings in the interim for ...

Bentley provisionally sold, to be collected some time next week. The Cayenne needs a scrub up & a new MOT, then that can go up for sale too. I'm behaving myself at the moment and waiting until both are gone before I buy anything new. Got your eyes set on anything in particular, or are you waiti...

Litchfield cracked the BMW code pretty quickly https://www.slashgear.com/942651/bmw-owners-are-stealing-their-heated-seats-back/ Does say it voids the warranty. Imagine having the gearbox or a turbo let go and the dealer comes back "ah sorry mate, that heated seat killed it" Then again, P...

No, that's when you buy another Metro and make an Austin Exige.integrale_evo wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 4:23 pm Will just be what PH defaults it to based on the reg. you would hope the 140 kit has something approaching 140hp (or PS)
Hmm, looks a decent price. Am I ready for a full on mid life crisis yet?

Looks a piece of piss online for the ZF8. Ok it's a bit inconvenient as there's no drain bolt so you have to undo the whole sump and you need a scan tool to read the oil temp to correctly measure the level which seems to range from £60-130. If your specialist is servicing your car at the side of th...
