Re: Your fleet running reports

Puma - Gone. Mondeo - ticking along nicely, although the front end of it now looks like some kind of genocidal statement towards insect life of all stripes. It's hideous . I should probably clean it up next time I'm down at the missus's for a full weekend (as opposed to this weekends one night stayo...

Re: Bye Bye, Little Puma

Aside, I've already had the Mondeo remapped to a subtle, but useful 180-190bhp and 280-300lb/ft - plenty of shove for motorway stuff. I'm sort of tempted to have the DPF and swirl flaps removed, and (if the turbo would be able to use it) a slightly more open exhaust system, but unless it made major ...

Re: Bye Bye, Little Puma

I hadn't realised it was debadged for the ULTIMATE Q CAR look 8-) I hadn't even realised meself TBH. I'm sort of tempted to look at getting a shiny tip on the end that actually exits the valance, but that would probably require acquiring a Tit-X sport valance, which would mean getting a dual-exit p...

Re: Bye Bye, Little Puma

Bye bye Puma. So, remap or audio/phone stuff with the monies? Fixing the clutch in the Citroen in bros car, more like - which he needs for work, of which there isn't much at the moment in Scarbs (he's doing temping, some trade stuff, some just general manual labour) so, er, yeah. That's eaten that,...

Bye Bye, Little Puma/EOTR

So, the day has arrived where I finally pull my finger out and get shot of the Puma. Only five months after I got the Mondeo, cough cough. Long story short - the chap I got half the spare parts from - start motor, alternator, axle set of wheels, etc has taken it off my hands for a small amount, and ...

Re: Decent Recent TV

The Expanse I'm hoping a certain major plot device has been finally introduced (having read the books) as it's about damned time it showed up! I think Amos might be on the money with "What The Fuck Is THAT" :o  Seriously, Ep6 was out-of-this-world levels of awesome. Slight spoilier...

Hey if she's worth it, good on you. Personally I'd rather just have a wank at home  Nah, this way she can wash her own curtains. (she's actually having a rough week, otherwise one night wouldn't be worth it really - she could do with being cheering up by some scottish numpty farting on her cat...

Re: It's the weekend

Think it's going to be a busy one. Well - as busy as trying to do any two things at opposite ends of the country in two days would be. Pfft, they're not opposite ends of the country..... *checks google maps* Sigh, actually that's the better part of a quarter of my weekend in the car (around ten hou...

Re: It's the weekend

Friday: Swift half in the pub methinks
Saturday: Go through to Scarbs to get Puma lifted, hand over keys etc. Then drive down to Herts from Scarbs to see the missus who's not having a good week.
Sunday: Drive back up.

Think it's going to be a busy one.

Re: Can we have some moderators?

Well I've restricted registrations now, so that's fixed the issue with spammers, and the forum doesn't show up in any searches or anything so I doubt many are going to stumble by and try to join. If they do, they'll just have to wait until I can tick the box to complete their registration. The prob...

Re: Can we have some moderators?

Is this about getting the power Ravi ? Would you like a Sheriffs Badge next to your avatar :) A rusty one? I can confirm that I would abuse any power given to me with hilarious results. Matty, is there a search and replace option that will allow me to change every instance of the phrase 'lease' to ...

Re: Decent Recent TV

Superstition Feels like a discount American Gods, and definitely not up there in terms of writing or production values. Improves once it stops taking itself seriously and gets a bit more camp towards the end of the season. There's definitely some fun to be had there and it has it's moments, but str...

Someone should stop SyFy from....just existing.

Fingers crossed Netflix will pick it up, they seem to have a good history with scifi stuff and don't appear to be shy at throwing money at good properties.

Re: The Movie Thread

Halfway through Nightcrawler review. Because the missus' ten year old came home halfway through, and it's not exactly a PG film. No, it's not X-men - 'nightcrawlers' are the video paparazzi who hunt down crime scenes overnight for the early morning news - which the titular character falls into by a...
