Re: Holiday Refunds Thread

I’ve still not received a refund from Expedia, so I’ve contacted Barclaycard to hopefully get the money back from them instead

Mine was LV when I wrote off my Abarth.

They were really nice, and easy to deal with. YMMV

Re: 5g

There’s been a few videos on this in the US. The ones I’ve seen from respected tech bloggers show that if you’re standing right next to a cell tower in the street, you get crazy fast download speeds (albeit your handset is nearly on fire). The minute you start to walk away from the mast, speeds dro...

9/10 horror, Toni Collette is brilliant.

Just appeared on Netflix. Guy who did Midsommar's first feature. Terrifying IMHO 😆
Just watched this. Very good. Would strongly recommend. Nice to watch a horror that isn’t just full of jump scares

Was in Asda on Friday, mostly compliant. One person had forgotten their mask and sounded genuinely quite annoyed with themsevles that they hadn't. Was in Lidl yesterday, mostly compliant. Apart from one twat who had the mask with his nose hanging out It's incredible how flat out stupid some people ...

Maybe this means that they’ll be able to raise the limit from 50 to 60 where sensible?

I enjoy winding my watch. I think it makes me appreciate the watch a bit more, and appreciate the mechanical bits inside

Well that's shit   Had a friend have a brain aneurism a while back but she survived - forever changed though due to damage done. Also had a friend who had one, when we were in year 8 (12/13 years old). Apparently he actually has a second bigger one about to pop in his brain too, which the...

I just can’t see the point of the Grenadier. If LR couldn’t make it work, why could this new company, design a Defender, tool a factory and make profit?

What Rich said. It's not as if Intel, Microsoft et al will be doing nothing for the next 6-12 months.

If their current silicone is anything to go by, their desktop and laptop stuff should be incredible.
